The hotel is fantastic. The room and common areas are beautiful and spotless, the staff were so friendly and helpful (Erika in particular was brilliant!), the food and drink were great and the hotel was really well situated to explore the area (although a car is essential). Would highly recommend.

This was a very exclusive stay with excellent food using a carefully selected choice of Hokkaido produce as well as sake and wines. There is a shuttle from the Otaru Chikko station if you organise in advance but you can get in to Otaru using a taxi without any problems. We had an in -room onsen which was gratefully received and used quite a few times. Beds were comfortable but upstairs if anyone had trouble with stairs.
