The hotel is grand and modern, the room is well designed and super luxurious. excellent staff service, the food and drinks in the lounge were excellent. The dinner was one of the best that we ever had… will stay in Chalet Ivy for our next trip in Jozankei. 👍👍

Everything! The hotel is beautiful and peaceful. Staff are friendly and attentive. We felt really well looked after and welcomed. The food was exceptional. They were also extremely careful and well prepared for those with food allergies (we messaged in advance). The room is spacious, clean and comfortable, and the onsen in room was very relaxing. Thank you especially to Khun Peach for looking after us so well and to all the staff.

This property was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The level of service was the best I’ve ever encountered. It will ruin any other hotel you have planned to,stay in after. I’ve stayed a lot places,in this world, and it was better than the $2200/night place in Hakone. Truly amazing. The kimonos were great too.
The surrounding town was cute, it not up,to the standard of the hotel. So if you want to be in an overpriced town like Aspen, it’s not for you. The surrounding landscape is beautiful.

One of the best hotel stays of all time. Service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. Food was top-notch; breakfast and dinner included in the half board. Dinner was a nine course healthy curated selection of local ingredients from all over Hokkaido. Absolutely loved the in-room onsen and forest views. Will definitely stay again. Topped up for teppanyaki dinner on one night and it was amazingly delicious
Nothing.
