Hotel had wonderful rooms with balcony (superior dubbelroom) and sea view. Placement very good near seapromenade and shopping. Service at the hotell breakfast very unattended though,also reception felt a bit uninterested. This was our second time at this hotel and breakfast service as bad both times. Lovely aroundings made it good anyway. Nice room too.

Very lovely hotel- front desk staff were wonderful. The beaches are gorgeous and recommend using the ones affiliated with the hotel for better rates on beach chairs. We had a really nice stay and wished we’d booked for a day or two longer. Breakfast buffet and a la carte options were super. Could only wish for perhaps more prompt service on the coffee front. Even on mornings when we arrived early it seemed a bit of a struggle. But that is maybe nitpicking. We also loved the lobby bar in the evening for a night cap and a card game. Overall fabulous stay. Thank you!

Plus points: Hotel was excellent, staff were very helpful and responsive, room was in excellent condition, maid service was excellent, breakfast was very good, view from our balcony was excellent, location was excellent. Lots of restaurants on the promenade and food was very reasonable and top quality in the area. You can go on the ferry from the port to cinque terrre (great trip) and easily get to pisa to see the leaning tower and other attractions. It is well positioned for train and bus transport. Minus points: No pool. This was needed in my opinion - too hot in summer not to have one. The hotel says it has a private beach in front on the advertisement when booking. They don’t tell you it is €30-40 euros per day for a sunbed, deck chair and unbrella. This added a lot to our already expensive holiday. The hotel should provide these free of charge. The cost to get from the airport to the hotel in a cab was circa €150 euros. Total rip off. We got a train to pisa central, then pisa central to viareggio for €13 euros each. Cabs and uber locally are astronomical. Be advised - not the hotels fault. It was our anniversary and the hotel did nothing. No wine, no fruit. You literally get two tea bags, two sachets of coffee and two bottles of water per day. Given the cost of the room per night it was disappointing. WE HAVE A VERY GOOD STAY HERE!

This hotel was quite good. Rooms were very spacious and nice. Shower was difficult trying to keep water from going all over, but we managed The cost to get a spot on one of the 2 private beach clubs that hotel deals with was a little pricey. Overall good stay

Thai was a great property, lovely location with easy access to the rail network. We had a beautiful double balcony corner room with marble tiles, amble storage and wardrobe space. Tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar that wasn’t overly expensive at all. 14 minute walk to the train station with easy access to regional and high speed trains. Situated just over the main road to many restaurants, shops and of course the beach. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection every morning. Staff were very friendly. Sadly, we couldn’t eat in the hotel despite two nights of poor weather. The restaurant was closed, even to hotel guests for an American holiday tour (also staying in the hotel). We thought this was really disappointing and we had to walk out in the rain to eat. This was the only thing that let this hotel down.

Wonderful location for Carnivale, its on the parade route. The room is very bright but, they have electric blinds so you can adjust the light coming in. The breakfast is great it has lots of choices. The beach is just across the street. After we got tired we went into the bar to sit, watch the parade and have drinks, watching through their giant windows. great place with a caring owner and staff

A lovely hotel in a great location. We had a refurbished room that was beautiful with a South facing balcony. The room was well sound proofed and had all the comforts required. The TV had loads of sports channels. Breakfast was excellent and the bar area was relaxing. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This was our favorite hotel during our stay in Italy. We stayed in a Prestige Room which was very large. The included breakfast was excellent. Marchello at the front desk is one of the best front desk managers I have met in my life. Having traveled all over Europe and much of the world along with having Lifetime Marriott Platinum Elite status from my thousands of stays in Marriott's gives me a lot of experiences. He suggested great restaurants, directed us to all the right places and even booked our train travel. His helpfulness and pleasantness made it a wonderful stay.
