It's rare to find a hotel that you can smoke in this is a good one!

The television does not work, I complained but still nothing done. I don't like this at all.

I had a unique, very nice pair of light colored multi-grey camo print exercise/lounge pants. I wore them every morning to get coffee in the breakfast room (that would be on camera). After all day at the Ohio State Prison Academy training, as soon as I got back to my room, I always changed into these pants. Therefore, once entering my room I immediately noticed they were gone as I always put them in the same place. Housekeeping came in that day and all she did was fix my bed, take the garbage out and steal my pants. Within 1 minute, I went to the customer service desk, the name tag of assistant manager was Ron Patel, and that is who treated me so awfully. I told him of the incident and he said "That's impossible." I said, "It's not impossible because it happened. You can look on Hotel video to see me in the pants, you can come to my room right now and look through everything and my car. The pants are gone." He said, "All she did was clean." I said, "My room wasn't even cleaned." He said, "That's not true!" At that point, I asked him to come see my room to see that it wasn't cleaned, the dirty towel I used to dry off with was still hanging on the bathroom door, nothing was cleaned and all that she did was empty out my small 1ft. garbage can, fixed my bed, and steal my pants." He said, "That's not true. And you'll need to talk to the manager." I said, "So now you're calling me a liar, too?" I said, "I don't want anyone in my room the rest of the week." He said, "If you would've had the "do not enter" sign out, she wouldn't have entered. I answered, "There was no 'do not enter sign' in my room for me to use. He went to get me one and they didn't have any available. He told me he would put it on my door. I woke up in the morning and it wasn't there. The next day (Weds) I also called to talk to the manager at 10:00 (when on break from the academy) and they said "he left". I asked when he left, Ron Patel told me 9:30 and I needed to call back tomorrow. I asked when the manager comes in, and Ron Patel told me 9:00. So, they expected me to believe the manager is only there from 9 to 9:30 daily. I called back on Thursday, Ron Patel told me "the manager won't be back until tomorrow." And, on Friday, of course the manager wasn't available again. The reason the pants were so important is that they were a gift from my deceased aunt in Arizona, plus I needed them for Friday's Prison Academy training of self-defense. They were the only exercise pants I had with me as all my other clothes were business attire. That meant I had to go buy a pair of appropriate clothing to take my Prison academy training so I can pass the academy for my career. I was also told by Ron Patel that the housekeeper had been with them for 10 years, so it's impossible she stole my pants, to which I replied, "So the only people in my room has been myself and the housekeeper; so apparently my pants grew legs and walked away themselves? And, I don't care if she worked for you for 100 years, the pants are still gone and if this is how you treat your guests when something comes up missing after housekeeping has been in their room,, then of course she still has her job because you just deny it ever happened and call the guest a liar. Here's the thing, if anyone was going to "lie" about something being stolen, they would chose an extremely "pricey" item like a diamond, watch, money, etc. It is clear by my asking him to come check my room and check the cameras that I was telling the truth. Likewise, by Ron Patel's unwillingness to do any of these things that prove my pants were stolen, he "knew" I was telling the truth and refused to do anything that would prove my pants were stolen. So, if you're wanting the asst. manager and the manager of your hotel to protect you and your belongings and if they aren't protected, you would want them to treat you with respect and make it "right" then NEVER stay at this Days INN.

was very rude overall the place was decent but the clerk was rude
