Comfort Hotel Paris Porte d'Ivry

This was a poor stay, when we got there they had given our room to someone else (apparently with the same first name) so they left us for 25min in foyer waiting. Then put us in another room, but failed to transfer our breakfasts over, so next morning 20min trying to sort that, paid breakfast for the 3 days then next day they weren't on the system. Just terrible service. Then the final straw was that they took our towels and did not replace them so had only a handtowel on last day. So each of these errors by themselves would have been a mistake but together they ruined this break, and I would not recommend this hotel. Also they do not give you pillows, we had a small cushion each. So the name comfort hotel is misleading. Its a long way from anything, so need Uber or long walk.

Overall it was comfortable, but the room lacked storage space (closet, drawers). The breakfast was so-so, not great.

The bathroom had a terrible odor and towels were not replaced with clean dry ones.

Very disappointing !!! The room we were allocated was not clean . The floor was dirty. The bathroom was not fresh and the beds had not been changed. There was human hair on the bed sheets.We were offered 2 alternative rooms and unfortunately there was hair present on the mattress covers in both of these rooms also.

Room not very clean, stained towels, shower handle broken. I could hear guests from the other room as the wall are very thin. Overall very noisy, loud guests yelling in hall way during the night. and everyday I had to pass by reception to re-activate the room key card. Plus, on my check out the lady at the from desk (Manu, if I well recall) seemed to be in a bad day. It seemed I bothering her with my questions and I noticed the same behaviour with another guests also that also were checking out. I do not recommend this hotel.

The place is within walking distance of the metro, which is really a plus point. The building and the room have seen better days, but I cannot complain with the price I paid. If you are a traveller and just want somewhere to sleep after a long day of sightseeing in Paris, then this is a budget-friendly hotel. There are towels and toiletries. The bedding seems clean. The pillow is just like a throw pillow and not a proper rectangular shape, but it's fine. There were some policemen around when we visited, but it did not affect our visit. The reception people are also polite and does not mind speaking in English.

The room looks different from the picture. There were molds in the bathroom. Low rating because of the dirtiness. Location is good.

Very kind staff

I'd only give this property 1 star because the receptionist was kind but the pictures are a total cat fish. Bathroom was full of mold. Dead bug in the sheets. No storage for baggage or clothes. 1 night even feels too much for this place. Happiest day of my vacation was check out!

Great hotel!

Ac was not working. Entire night we keep open our window. Noise came from out. Only this was bad experience otherwise everything was ok according to price.

El servicio malicimo al llega rel cuarto no tenia aire acondicionado y no ne cambiaron hasta el segundo dia y cuando me llevaron a otra habitacion el aire funcionaba a mitad de capacidad y el inodoro estaba danado y nunca lo arreglaron el servicio del hotel dejaba mucho que deciar The malicious service when the room arrived, it had no air conditioning and they did not change until the second day and when they took me to another room, the air worked at half capacity and the toilet was damaged and they never fixed it.

Our stay was okay/ adequate. We needed a room with sleeping for three and it fit the bill on short notice. Grateful for that but otherwise the property and room (including bathroom) was pretty tired and in need of some updating.

This hotel should not be declared 3*, I’d say it’s 2* at best. They say there is a kettle in the room, when in fact there isn’t and you’re told hot water is available at the bar. The coffee machine in the bar only has black coffee. The rooms on the top floor have no lift access. The shower in our room was broken, but I managed to fix it. The main light in the room didn’t work. The maid in the morning was extremely loud, especially when she took a phone call in the adjacent room! One of the lifts was broken. I rarely declare that I’d never return to a hotel, but I certainly won’t be back.

I had a good experience especially walking distance to metro station.

Stayed 1 night to be close Gare de Lyon. Hotel is NOT in quaint area but is 15 min walk to metro Port d'Ivry M7). If dark/night time I would not walk due to sketchy location of hotel. Pay a bit more and stay elsewhere. Hotel needs to improve: 1) shower did not have a soap dispenser. I had to fill the glass with soap from sink dispenser to take in shower. 2) Hotel clerk did not return my passport at check in & I overlooked taking it back as we were fatigued from travel we arrived at busy check in time. We ordered drinks at lobby bar sat there for an hour, settled bar bill at front desk same clerk who checked us in. Knowing necessity of passport there was NO INTENT to locate us that night to return passport! Hotel clerk could have brought PP to our room once noticed it was left with them! Or at check out when we returned room key, clearly a note not placed to have morning clerk return the passport. DUE TO SLOPPY CLERK, we had to rearrange our travel. We called hotel from train station & they said PP was in their safe. When we picked up they were apologetic but not sure if they understood this was a MAJOR MISTAKE by their clerk. 3) NO COFFEE IN ROOM. They offer free coffee in lobby however NOT before 10:00am. What's the point? Coffee hour should be 7:00 to 11:00 if they are going to advertise free coffee. just avoid this poor service place and stay elsewhere.

It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Both sink was clogged. Windows were not good. Beds are terrible too. I will never recommend someone to stay in this hotel.

The mirror came off before we came in the room, it’s never been fixed while we stayed there. We have to use stairs to reach our room there is no elevator to our floor.
