A cosy, comfortable stay with a great shower, thoughtful temperature control, a lovely private garden, and a responsive

We had a lovely stay, it was cosy with a really comfy bed and an excellent, spacious shower. The Hive climate monitor made it easy to manage the temperature, which was a great touch and kept everything comfortable throughout our stay. The private garden was a nice bonus and added to the peaceful feel of the place. The host was responsive and genuinely lovely, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We’d happily stay again.

Good for 2-3 days, not an apartment

Wifi. Shower. Parking.

"Entire apartment" misleading. No access to health and safety provisions (fire, electric cut-off etc). No sound barrier between the room and the rest of the house. A pet running upstairs any time of the day is audible in the room (given the fast pace it's not human or toddler!). When they enter, exit, set and unset alarm, and their conversation, we can hear in the room. A lock safe will be useful. Shaver electric plug in bathroom will be good. Difficult to fit the kettle to the bathroom hand basin tap to get water. We bought things for BBQ, thought to check with host before starting gas, he then said the BBQ is not working; our food goes to waste. The nearest shop even to get coffee is at the next road junction, at least 10 minutes' walk away.

Ideal for short stays, I am an athlete and I was competing in the England netball National Championships for the weekend

The Garden was incredible for the price and I had solo access The bed was very comfy The bathroom was a great size Easy access Stunning location

The fridge was very small and was on the clothes rail I had to contact the property as you cannot control the central heating inside the property, the landlord has to do this for you, upon arrival the inside of the property was rather cold

I found the flat is very cold middle of the night, was uncomfortable to sleep right through out. Could be due to heaters are on little period of time.

Small and Smelly.

It was clean and warm when the heating was on.

Smell of damp from the shower room when you walk in. Found the bed very uncomfortable and it gave me back ache. The gas BBQ might be useful in the summer but, as far as I could see, there is nothing to cook with or eat off. It is completely surrounded by houses so not what I would call private. It didn't meet my needs but that was my fault for not reading it properly. Presumed it would be near a bus route as it's in a residential area but it wasn't. Nowhere within walking distance to eat. Very small room. Booked for 3 nights only stayed one.

Good instruction re location & passcode to get key in order to enter property.

I didn’t like that the property offers parking (I wanted my car to be in view of the property or nearby); and though it was out of sight & on a side street. I text the property re this issue; but no response. I also did not like that there was no key to open the windows (it was very hot so I didn’t really sleep properly). It was most peculiar that the owner instruction was to lock doors & windows /take rubbish away but no key for window & I didn’t expect to carry my own rubbish away - no visible bins outside the property). It might be a good idea to put a bath towel towel rail in the bathroom (there was a hand towel rail) as there was no place to put the bath towels either before shower or after? I was really excited the photos of the property; there was a seating area out the back (like a rattan lounger with cushions) and was delighted at the idea that I could sit and watch the stars ⭐️ or sunset - however this was covered over. Disappointing.

The room was clean, fresh and comfortable bed. Lovely shower.

Information could have been clearer for a few things. No live TV programmes, only netflix / Amazon prime. Parking unclear exactly where you are allowed to park once you find the area described on the booking message. Thin walls, noisy at times which is distracting. Could improve with a guide in the room with wifi password, how to work TV. No iron facilities yet describe on the booking.com. Difficult to gain access to key safe as located high up on the wall and challenging to see code with mobile phone light.
