The hotel is so so . But it was clean and quiet in the location

We were so pleased with The Major (for the most part). Staff was great, hotel is beautiful, location is amazing… but it just wasn’t enough ac for us to sleep comfortably. We slept with the balcony doors open to get a cooler temp each night. We mentioned it to the front desk and they wanted to help, and said they would check on it… I think it’s a matter of perspective. We are from Texas and like it nice and cold! That was the only negative for us.

Loved the location of this hotel near the Forum, Colosseum, and Basilica. Made life so easy having a pretty diverse buffet breakfast with staff making individual coffee drinks.
