    The only thing I wish I would have known before arriving to this well-equip hotel was the additional $32 restoration fee that was not mentioning anywhere during the booking process. The hotel was nice, clean, secure, and located right next to Millennium Park, but extra unforeseen costs at the time of check in can really put a damper on a trip.

    I chose the Silversmith Hotel for it’s great location for my 10 yr old granddaughter’s first trip to Chicago & wasn’t disappointed. We were greeted by Beverly at the front desk. She is very warm and welcoming and was so very kind to my granddaughter who looked forward to sharing her adventures with her every day. Beverly also helped us navigate transportation to our places of interest each day. Susan checked in with us each evening to ensure we were comfortable. Every one of the staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is lovely and the location couldn’t be better.

    Security deposit is taken when checking in, which is standard. However, 30$ out of that 110$ is kept by the hotel to “provide free coffee as well as a couple bottles of water”, ridiculous when already paying a premium for a room. Location is great, hotel was clean
