    We had to book accommodations at the last minute and Arlo was within budget. The location is just adjacent to millennium park, and is 5 mins away from the nearest CTA. Giordano’s and other restos are just across the street. The staff were so kind and helpful — shoutout to Allie who addressed all our questions and made us feel right at home :) i would definitely recommend this to solo travelers, groups of 2, and couples visiting Chicago!

    The room is very small but clean. It comes with a well stocked but expensive mini fridge. The location is perfect but being in the middle of the city makes it noisy even if you are on the upper floors. It is surrounded by restaurants so we didn’t eat at the hotel. Staff was exceptionally friendly. The WiFi was a bear to connect to but tech support was quick to respond.

    The hotel location is great, right on Michigan avenue, but also because of that, the room was really loud from the traffic outside. Checking in early put us to that room on the 2nd floor, which is right above the lobby, maybe rooms on the higher levels would be less noisy. The road finally got quiet down after 1am. Other than that, we found that the cleaning of the room wasn’t that thorough, there were dried up contacts on the night stand from the previous customer and there was a small blood stain on the bed sheet. The room is also on the warm side even though we have put the thermostat all the way down, only that nothing happened and obviously we couldn’t open the window, the hallway was cooler than the room. Unfortunately, we will most likely pick another hotel when we visit Chicago again.
