    My boyfriend and I love coming here. The staff is very friendly. The beds and rooms are very comfortable. There’s a nice selection of snacks and drinks in the room that are not overpriced. We also love the location. We come back frequently it’s our favorite spot to get away and relax.

    Sometimes the best things in life are unplanned. In addition to housing clean rooms and quaint and attractive common areas, this hotel offers opportunities to experience unexpected and delightful "gems " throughout. Thank you for a great stay!

    Staff is responsive, kind and courteous and definitely the best part of my experience at this hotel. The room was as clean as a room can be in a building this dated. There was no evident dirt or filth but the odor said “I’m old af.” Tough to give above 3 stars for cleanliness knowing there’s old carpet and an ancient window unit air conditioner that just circulated its oldness about the room. The A/C was also loud so it did do a good job of drowning out some of the sound of the train stop 60 yards away. If you choose to stay here, make sure to ask for a room as far from the street/train as possible unless the sound of train every 5-10 mins lulls you to sleep. The location is great, right by the train stop and within a pretty cool part of Chicago. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars etc. within a short walk.
