Mixed reviews. As a world traveler, it’s great and huge; good beds and WiFi. Good kitchen and dining, common areas. Bathrooms need a bit of love in cleaning, and people aren’t always good at cleaning their dishes. The only two main things not a fan of is how you need your key to access bathrooms but perhaps that’s if some homeless person gets in? Also the location is a bit dodgy. It’s in the business and financial area but away from the river and parks / shopping and nightlife. There’s a homeless issue just outside the hostel but they don’t bother; just at night I can see how some people might find the area a bit uneasy if they’re alone.

This was my first time visiting Chicago (from Las Vegas, NV) and was looking for a location central to everything I wanted to do and see. Hi Chicago exceeded my expectations and am very happy I chose this property for my 1 week exploration of the city.
