    This was my very first visit to Chicago, and from the moment I stepped off the subway, I was blown away. The streets were clean, people were friendly, there was an incredible variety of stores and restaurants, and everything felt so convenient and welcoming. Then Beverly happened. When checking in, I politely asked if a room on a higher floor might be available. Beverly took a look, smiled, and surprised us with an upgrade to a Junior Suite! That gesture alone would have made our stay memorable, but what truly stood out was her kindness throughout our visit. Every morning and every evening, she greeted us with a warm "hi" and made us feel genuinely welcome. Considering we tended to stay out late enjoying the city, it was amazing that she always remembered us and took the time to say hello. In fact, every single employee at the Silversmith Hotel was pleasant, professional, and incredibly kind. Hospitality like this is rare, and it made a lasting impression. The hotel itself is stunning. It perfectly blends classic elegance with modern comfort. The welcome drink at the bar was such a delightful surprise. The internet was lightning fast, the rooms were beautifully furnished, the linens were crisp and luxurious, and the Egyptian cotton towels felt like something from a five-star resort. Every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to elevate the guest experience.

    Everyone was friendly and ready to assist in any area. When I left to return home a staff person assisted me in getting my Uber ride when the driver was a block away. The food was wonderful. I wasn’t sure about the hotel because they added another $30 per night that I wasn’t aware that I would have to pay. I would change the restoration fee in some way. I have recommended your hotel to a friend.

    We found the hotel to be very comfortable. But I would like to comment that your valet parking was excellent, particularly Enrique who went out of his way to return my phone I had left in the car. He brought it into the hotel and delivered it to me personally. Thanks again Enrique!

    I will say, staff was helpful. However, I should have realized this was right on Wabash which means LOUD trains. No hot water until our last night, half of the TV channels didn’t work, there was dried urine splash next to the toilet. We waited 30 mi Utes to be able to check in. We simply needed a place to land at night, or I would have moved hotels. We needed a car for some far destinations and valet is $80/night and takes 1/2 hour to actually get your car.
