I read enough reviews to know that this was not a top end hotel, but rather a handy place to lay my head for a couple of nights.
With that in mind - for a low price, it served its purpose and the location was good for mass transit and Lyft scooters :-)

Set your expectations right. The rooms like dorm rooms from the 1980s. But everything was clean and perfectly adequate. We loved the location, with lots of authentic Chinese restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The subway is also only a few minutes' walk and it's a 10-15 minute ride to downtown. The area appears safe even for walking late at night. Parking can be tricky.
There are plenty of free parking spaces in the street, but there are also plenty of cars, especially during dinner hours, as the Asian restuarants in the area seem to attract lots of clients. With some luck, you can park for free, but expect that you may have to drive around a bit to find an empty space.
Overall, we were content. We'd be happy to stay here again.

For what I paid, I expect the toilet to not leak and the door flip lock to actually be attached to the door, among other things. Staff was very accommodating, and we were very appreciative. The rooms were also clean but well worn.
Overall, this would have been more acceptable for around ***, not *** for a single night.
