Having spent 2 nights here a week ago. We thought we knew what to expect. On our return we had been given an upgraded room. The room is huge. Great big super king size bed. It had a dressing room area and the bathroom had a full size bath with shower.
The staff went above expectations. Allowing us a late departure from the room and providing glasses for us to enjoy a drink in the room. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aberdeen. Bus and train stations are 2 minutes away. Ferry is a 10 minute walk. Big shopping centre with many big names and every style of restaurant under 1 roof within 2 minutes walk.

We arrived off the Orkney boat at 7 am. We knew it was too early to check in. Came in and spoke to the person on duty. He put our bags into an office and then checked to see when room would be available. Told us room was ready. Can’t remember his name but he was a very polite and friendly guy.
Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was more than adequate.
Hotel is only about 5 minutes walk from all the big shops. Train and bus stations are close by.
This hotel is an ideal place for couples. Plenty of eating places and pubs nearby.

Excellent from start to finish. Seamless check-in .Very helpful staff and made to feel very welcome. The room was spotless, the bed was comfy, and there was plenty of hot water/heating. The best part was the quietness despite being central, which meant a good night's sleep. The only minor gripe is the lack of tea/coffee-making facilities in the room. I was made well aware of the refurbishment works. Highly recommended!
