I cannot review the room because I did not stay there. I was admitted to the hospital one week before my stay and wanted to cancel the room and get a refund. This was refused because I booked through Hotel.com. Therefore, I am not happy with the service because I lost the entire payment.

Starting with the positives: the staff is friendly and try to be helpful, and the location is close to city center. Now, my stay was still terrible because :1)the hotel was shown at a special promo rate for the weekend, which turned out that it’s because it’s undergoing renovation but no mention of that on the app. 2)the daily construction work starts at 7am even during the weekend. 3) what shows as free parking is not even accessible because of the renovation, so I had to pay at a nearby parking more than what I saved thru the so-called promo. I can’t say for sure if it’s the responsibility of the hotel or the app, but it was terrible, misleading and complete scam.

Basic hotel with good connection. Nothing too fancy, but just all what I wanted/needed. Tram stop about around the corner. Three nights due to Veterama swap meet. Easy to go to Maimarkt area. Friendly staff.

Basic hotel, we parked in the car park at the hotel which was difficult due to the small area and very slim parking space - had to get out of the car and leave driver in as not enough space to open doors fully and had to remove suitcases before we could drive onto parking space ramp. Slow service. We had an interconnecting room - one kettle with coffee but no milk. Each room has an empty fridge and a hob which is a little odd…. Good location as very close to restaurants and shops but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

liked the view coolness convenience to tram station basic amenities friendly staff didn't like the noises of people talking loudly till 11 and cigarette smoke despite rooms with no smoking signs limited tea and kaffee supplies. No toilet rolls for 2 nights. Had to ask at reception to get the papers. No air-conditioning in rooms. Hotel writeup is incorrect. Misleading information. Overall, pleasant stay. Close to city centre, tram & train stationd, university. Recommended for travellers.

Due to Covid19 there was No kettle to make hot boild for tee og coffee, there ejere only vleaning Every second Day, the cleaning didn't fill Up empty slap holder, there wasn't Sparkling water. In the room room descpition it said dayli cleaning, Sparkling water in room, kettle to make tee/coffee. By check in they didn't announce these things Wer missing, first day without cleaning I was told og was due to illness by staff, second Day without cleaning and me asking for it I was told due to Covid19 there were only cleaning Every second Day and there would not be a kettle in the room due to Covid19. I find it Strange they didn't announce it to me when I checked in. To use soap for hands I had to tale the soap in shower due to handsoap went empty 3 Days before leavi g and they didn't fill Up a new one. The room was very very hot due to warm weather a cooler would have made wonder. I had to sleep with open Windows but didn't hey much sleep due to the room was out to Street where cars were coming All night. The lift was out of order and wont be fixed at the moment due to Covid19, would have been nice to know before arriving.

Everything was alright EXCEPT that the fire alarm in the hotel rang 4 times a night!!! So everyone had to go outside the building at midnignt 4 times... Also, it is clearly alarms' problem because there was one time, it happened twice in half hour.

Good location (near to the centre) and good breakfast. The hotel itself is quite old and need a refurbishment. The day I arrived there the elevator was broken so averyone had to use stairs (up tothe 5th floor), the day after still broken no intervention done. No air conditioning: there was a particularly warm night so had to leave windows open and could not sleep too much because noise on the street till 1.30 a.m.

The hotel is located near to major museums and in convenient walking distance from Paradeplatz in the city centre. The walk from the main train station is a bit far. The room was well equipped with water, coffee and tea supplies. Staff was friendly.

We were visiting friends in the city - we were only needing the hotel to stay in. The hotel is pleasant enough but not as good as other best westerns we have stayed in. Overall, it is a good deal, and I would recommend to stay here if you are on budget. However, you need to understand what you are paying for. 1. Hotel staff do not respond to questions through Expedia. Instead write to them through the BW website if you need. 2. Check-in time is 15:00. As I arrived early morning, I waited until around 12:00 before a room was available. It was not a problem as I had a nice morning walk around the city center which is about 10 min walk from the hotel 3. They have an underground parking garage for EUR10 a day which is a good deal (unlimited entries and exits). However, the entrance and parking spaces are tight (as in most places in Europe). 4. My room was small, but clean and nice. I've got a kitchenette (was offered at check-in). There were a stove, refrigerator, plates and cutlery, cups and glasses, a kettle, tea and sugar, all are complimentary. 5. There is a laundry room in the basement which you can use for a small fee; they also can sell detergent for you. An iron and ironing board are available on request free of charge. 6. The mattress and linen are of very good quality, and that is a big plus; pillows are not good. 7. The service is daily, including weekends, so put out the not to disturb sign if you need a quite morning. 8. Breakfast is extra for EUR15. There are numerous cafes within a walking distance, so you have plenty of a choice. 9. The bathroom was somewhat small, but it was clean and the water pressure was good.
