The room was very clean and the hotel was situated in a very quiet neighborhood that was in walking distance to the Old Town, as well as Messe Frankfurt. The hotel is a bit dated, but that doesn’t take away from this being a really great option. This is my second stay in Frankfurt, and I’d come back to this hotel again should I return.

I really enjoyed staying in the apartment at the Plamenhof. It had been hard finding accommodations with beds for 3 people Frankfurt. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and convenient to public transportation. The living space of the apartment was great and spacious. But of the two double doors opening out to balconies, one was covered by a metal exterior shade that was broken in the closed position. Also, I hadn't realized that the apartment was built into the attic space of the building. While this resulted in very tall vaulted ceilings in the living area, it made for cramped space in the 2 bedrooms and bathroom with the ceiling sloping down to half a meter at the outer wall. As soon as you were in the room, you had to start watching your head. There were openings to windows or skylights, but the cramped space made it hard to include common things like dressers, closets, and even towel bars.

Location was decent, but room was old and ceiling paint in room was falling apart. Beds not very comfortable. Not worth the price we paid in my opinion, as there was a book convention during our time there so prices we raised due to that.

Our stay at the Palmenhof was excellent. Clean and Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Excellent location. Lovely surroundings (Westend). Walkable to the U Bahn stations and to Fressgasse etc. Excellent value for money. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Hotel Palmenhof. The location is perfect and the rooms are very comfortable and a good size. The price I more than reasonable for what is provided. We want to mention Mr. Mogeed Marco specifically as he provided us with exceptional customer service.

The hotel is amazing, I absolutely loved my room and all the vintage furniture. Location is perfect because its close to the subway station and there are many restaurants nearby. I had a very nice stay in Palmenhof Hotel in Frankfurt so I would definitely recommend it!

Hotel was clean, in a good part of town, convenient to public transportation. Breakfast was good. There was a problem with the shower head in my room, which reported but never fixed. I could still use the shower but the head kept falling down. Front desk was ok but not particular friendly or helpful. I had a good stay but there were a few things that kept it from being excellent.

All great EXCEPT that the shower pressure varied from no water to the same amount you can squeeze out of an old tap. Old building they can't do much about is as a reason and excuse doesn't quite help.

Expedia listed the room as having a full kitchen. It had nothing other than an electric kettle. The elevator was broken. My wife, with a fractured back was forced to walk up 4 flights of steps into her room. After being told we booked a room with a kitchen, the manager said it wasn’t his problem. Expedia needs to address any complaint or refund. I asked got at least a bowl and some cutlery (they have a restaurant for breakfast) he said no. Not possible.

A beautiful 19th century building in a wonderful part of Frankfurt, only a few minutes walk from the Palmen Garden. The decor was a bit dated, but I suppose that is part of the charm. Bathrooms seem to have been renovated fairly recently. The staff is fantastic! Very helpful. I had a bit of trouble with the heater in my room, but that is my only complaint.

We stayed in an apartment which was perfect for a family of 5. The staff was friendly, gave suggestions for food, travel and sights around the area. The angled low ceilings in the bedroom are unique and I would think anyone over 6’2 may struggle with navigating. Breakfast was amazing and there was something for everyone.

The property is located in a very strategic area near the trains. Getting around is very easy. I happen to have room 56, which is probably different from all the rooms, and I will say, I will stay here again and again. That room is beyond comfortable, its an apartment with everything you need to be comfortable. will recommend to all.

Somehow i filtered by location and the selected dates changed so expedia caused me to reserve my hotel on the wrong date. Upon arriving at check in, the front desk staff informed me thwre are no rooms due to a fair in the area but he has an apartment nearby i can stay in if i pay him in cash. I politely declined and alternate accommodations. We researched eventa in the area and did not find any fairs. Bad experience
