GIULIVETO Bed and Breakfast

This was the best accommodation I have ever stayed in, and Lisa and Nando are the best hosts I have ever experienced. Every single thing was perfect from start to finish. Giuliveto is so special: there is nothing else like it. The entire property is designed better than any house I have ever seen: every single little detail is thought out. It was the perfect mix of traditional, authentic Italian villa on the outside and modern comfort on the inside. The rooms were spacious, the bed and pillows were comfy, the shower was fantastic, the cupboards and drawers had plenty of storage room, and the balcony/terrace and shutters allowed as much or as little air and light as you wanted throughout the day. The garden was lush and the pool was divine (and salt water!), with breathtaking views all day - and particularly at sunset. The breakfast had everything: eggs, bacon, yoghurt, fresh fruit, granola, fresh bread, even jam- and chocolate-filled croissants. Lisa and Nando were so kind and thoughtful at every stage, answering all of our questions about the best towns and restaurants to visit and having some lovely chats out by the pool - while also recognising when we were happy to have quiet time and leaving us on our own. They always knew what we needed, without even having to ask! Their dog Ugo is also adorable. Coming from Australia, we have been travelling around Italy for a while and have stayed in numerous places - none of them come close to this one. Giuliveto is by a mile the best accommodation you could find. Don’t even think about booking anywhere else! Thanks so much Lisa and Nando - mum, my sister and I had the time of our lives here :) We cannot wait to come back!

Wow!! Loved this property but also the hosts!!! It was impeccable from the grounds to the room! So much attention to details and graciousness! My 2 friends traveled all over Italy and stayed in 11 different amazing places during our trip (some very expensive and all highly rated) but this place stood out amongst them all!! We’re all experienced travelers and have been to some really great places but truly, this a special place. Lisa was THE MOST sweetest and gracious host, so accommodating and thoughtful! Attending to our every need and oh so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Great travel recommendations from her! Her and her husband have made such a lovely space there and we really hated to leave. Breakfast was so good and generous, even feeding us early so we could leave for our early tour. So kind. You never know if the pictures of the place match the true condition but here they were absolutely better than the pics. As an interior designer, I loved their collections of interesting art and treasures around the place. I would highly highly recommend staying here!
