El alojamiento estaba muy cerca del centro de Mestia y me ofreció todos los sevicios que necesitaba para iniciar el trekking de Mestia-Ushguli de 4 días. Habitación con buenas vistas desde el balcón, pude contratar desayuno, lunchbox y ofrecían el servicio de guardae mi equipaje principal mientras duraba el trekking (tuve que pagar un pequeño extra ya que no volvía al mismo alojamiento)

Ya lo sabía, pero hay que tener en cuenta que el baño como en casi todos los guesthouse de esta región es del tipo que se inunda el suelo al ducharse, pero te dejan unas zapatillas para poder ducharte asi que no hay problema

The hotel is located in the city center of Mestia, just 2 minutes walk from the bus station. The room was clean, the bed was big and comfy. There is also a little balcony which is shared with the room next door.

The walls are very thin, you can hear everything, I once was woken up by people leaving the hotel at 6am. The young guy at the reception looked very grumpy, and didn't really talk to me or even smile at me. I also contacted the hotel via messages to ask how I can pay, they said I can pay on-site and should bring cash but they didn't even mention that I could pay by card which would be much easier for me. Also there is no kitchen, so you cannot cook or put anything in the fridge. No shower cabin so everything is very wet after you take a shower including the toilet. ---- Edit: After I published my review, this is the message that I received from the staff: "Generally, we don’t like expressing our emotions when responding to guests’ reviews, but your comment honestly made us laugh 😂 What exactly are you talking about when you say that the young guy at reception was grumpy? Tell me, what did I do wrong? I welcomed you, gave you all the services I was supposed to provide, and dealt with you coming up and down from your room ten times a day. Sorry if I didn’t greet you with a big smile and laughter every single time. If you wanted something from me, I really don’t think I looked so intimidating that you were afraid to ask 😂 And I’m certainly not obligated to become friends with every single guest, especially when you could clearly see how many guests we had. That’s simply beyond what one person can realistically do. As for the fact that you missed having a kitchen and a shower cabin — we never claimed that we had either of those things. We should be judged on whether we provided what we actually promised to provide. You should have read the description carefully and checked whether we had the facilities you were expecting. And as for the payment, please don’t exaggerate. You specifically asked us whether we would charge the card details you had provided with your reservation. You never asked us whether you could come and pay by card at the property"

The location is good, and the room is big.

I have no idea how this hotel is so well reviewed. The shower is in the toilet (picture showing), so you will have your whole bathroom wet after a shower. Very noisy - I could hear the guests upstairs. The bed is so soft it gave me back pain, and the pillows are hard as rock. There is curfew (you must be in the hotel before 11pm). I mean, it’s not a bad place, but it’s definitely not a 9,0.
