Very clean and tidy ,ample parking , pub / restaurant right across the road

The property was clean, plenty of parking, nice grounds, very friendly and helpful host.
Generally, everything you need for a stay is there albeit basic.
Very good value for money.

Really peaceful countryside location, perfect for a relaxing evening and good nights sleep after a hard day at work. The cottage had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. Fast free wifi, a well kitted out kitchen with tea coffee and sugar provided too. There is also a very friendly black cat that lives here and will welcome you at the door, if you like that kind of thing.
Nothing to complain about really, a mini oven / air fryer would have been useful ?

The rest of the bathroom was good, the bed was comfortable and warm and apart from the cobwebs, the apartment was nice and clean. It's location is lovely and we enjoyed the tranquillity and the pubs in the village were excellent.
Problems getting access despite arranging to arrive between 2 and 3pm, we were unable to contact the owner for over an hour as she didn't respond to phone calls and knocking on her door. The plug in the washbasin didn't work, so we couldn't fill the bowl for a wash and the pans and crockery were of poor quality.
