Wonderful Chalet in the Somerset countryside

Fabulous chalet with super views over the countryside and the horses. Chalet was very spacious and well equipped. We were very comfortable there. For us, the single best thing was the feeling of wellbeing. We were happy just to be in the chalet or on the veranda. Very easy to drive to using google maps. The owner was very nice and made us feel welcome. Stickleball Hill Farm Chalets is on google maps.

The emails from Booking.com were a real pain. The name of the farm was wrong and the directions meaningless. The only correct information in the emails were the phone numbers of the owners.

I wouldn't try Syke again.

The Chalet was fine, spacious and comfortable. The view was beautiful. Close to nice places to visit. It really helps to have some information how to operate the TV, Fireplace, Microwave Oven and etc. and some extra batteries.

It always helps when there is instruction how to operate Fireplace, Oven, Microwave Oven, TV and etc. It is very crucial to have lights where people park there cars. Yes, you can leave the porch line on or when you walk a few steps from the car the automatic light will come one, but as you get out of the car there are barriers where you park the car, and not easy to see when it is dark. As a result I got hurt and my glasses got broken both frame and glass. This happened the very first night. We had to buy a few extra things to make life easier for us. I always have done booking with booking.com and I have enjoyed it and I definitely wouldn't try Syke again. I don't like reading books and also they were asking for 56.95 while I had paid the total amount, annoying.

It was a lovely location. Very peaceful and not too far from town centres Overall we had a really great stay.

The bed was a bit too hard for our liking. Didn't really sleep great and the bedroom felt very dry so we had to open the windows which meant we were woken up quite early.

Beautiful spacious cabin set

Set in the most tranquil and idyllic location Foxglove is a beautiful cabin with amazing views. The accommodation is superb and incredibly spacious. The decor and furniture is gorgeous, modern and in incredible condition. Facilities were great and the hosts were welcoming, kind and super helpful. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to return to this wonderful place.
