Lakeside holiday home

Such a lovely home in beautiful surroundings with super facilities. The sauna room and hottub area near the lake are amazing

The house was cosy, warm and very well equipped. Some highlights: there were some toys, junior chairs for kids, the kitchen had basics like sugar, coffee, spices, oil, the shed had sledges and snow shoes for the whole family (6), there were shampoos and conditioner in every bathroom including the beach sauna, washing powder, washing machine and dryer, lots of cosy throws and selection of blankets to keep us snug and warm, all equipment in the house easy and simple to use, the walk to the little outhouse on the hill was a lovely little adventure, the jacuzzi was available to use throughout our whole stay (huge bonus), the beach house and sauna were lovely, the little shop 6 minutes drive away had everything we needed and the host Milla was fantastic. The house is in an amazing location - on a lake surrounded by forests. We were worried that we could run out of things to do with our small kids but it was the opposite! In the end we only went into Rovaniemi (50 minutes drive) once and spent all of our time at the house. And the absolute highlight of the trip was seeing the northern lights. It was a perfect holiday for our family and we are hoping to come back again one day!

One thing to mention is that the shower in the main house is accessible only via one of the bedrooms. It didn’t bother us but could be a consideration for some. In addition to the main bathroom the house has a separate WC that can be accessed by everyone. Another suggestion from our side would be more options for pillows and some more towels in the house.

Loved that the property was so big and very secluded. It is right on a lake and the scenery was so beautiful. It was 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was nice for our family. We came during February so there was snow everywhere, just breathtaking.

It is an amazing place, with everything you need to have a cozy time in Lapland. Right by the lake, make you feel like it is just for you and your group. The facilities are amazing, the house is very comfortable and the sauna place is great! We had such an amazing time, with a beautiful frozen lake perfect to see the auroras. A private winter paradise. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We hope we can go back. Don’t look more and book this beautiful place.

Only bad thing is that we stayed too short!
