Amazing house for a perfect Christmas experience.

Amazing house. Big, cozy, located next to a lake... Owner was easy to comunicate with and he helped us with anything we needed (transportation, car rental, recommendations...). Would recomend it to bigger families for a winter wonderland experience.

A lovely traditional countryside house

The house is gorgeous! And huge! Very nice place to stay if you’d like to experience a traditional Finnish countryside house, but with modern amenities. The location is handy - very close to the city (if you have a car that is) but still calm and in the nature.

I’m sure the house would be great for winter use, but for summer time there is some room for improvement. The yard is heavily shaded by big pine trees (leads to ton of mosquitos and a quite gloomy feel even on a bright summer day) and the river front is not usable (the peer was broken and not in use, and without a working peer one cannot get into the water). A small detail: but with all the pine trees there comes a ton of ants as well. All in all, for summer use the outdoor space needs some work. It was also not possible to open the windows (no mosquito nets) making sleeping a little difficult when the weather is hot. Additionally not all windows in the bedrooms had curtains - with the very light nights there was no way to not have sun in your face in the middle of the night.

Would definitely come again!

It was so homely, with a beautiful location and equipped with everything we needed. Only 15 mins from the airport and Santa park and our host arranged transport for us each day.

Nothing. Be aware that the bath, showers and sauna are in a separate building, which was a real treat in itself. Bathing with a real fire in the room was amazing. Sauna was gorgeous. The hot tub is a jacuzzi bath in uk parlance.

Toller Urlaub am Polarkreis zur Weihnachtszeit

Sehr geräumiges Anwesen in perfekter Lage. Tolles Wohnzimmer mit beeindruckendem Kamin. Schönes Duschhaus mit Sauna. Der Vermieter „Joel“ ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Es war alles bestens organisiert. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

Magique, la vraie maison de Laponie

La maison est magnifique spacieuse très bien décorée avec 4 belles chambres et tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. Elle est en bord d’un lac ce qui offre une vue exceptionnelle. Le propriétaire est disponible et fort sympathique

Le sauna et la salle de bain sont dans une maison à côté de la maison principale. Une partie du groupe a adoré ce concept personnellement avec de jeunes enfants et n’ayant pas l’habitude j’ai trouvé ça complexe de sortir prendre la douche par ce froid
