Villa Aurora Ounas - jacuzzi & sauna, next to ski center

Super cozy, with a huge common room and a well-equipped kitchen. My group of 7 had some great evenings cooking and winding down away from the cold outside. But the highlight was being able to see the aurora borealis right outside the windows! Big thanks to our host Tiia who gave us a heads-up that we might be able to see the lights :)

There is only one shower, and it is located inside one of the bedrooms (the suite). That meant we immediately had some logistics issues to work out. It wasn’t a big problem for our group, but it’s certainly something to be aware of.

Parhaat unet 🥰

Saunan lauteet oli todella korkeat ei pystytty saunomaan ja ei ollut tukea mistä ottaa kiinni. Huono jalkaiselle

A wonderful place to stay! The house was very cozy, beautiful, and comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always ready to help - especially when we had an issue with the washing machine, which we really appreciated. Thank you for your care and hospitality! We left with only positive impressions and would be happy to come back again someday 😊

All good

The property was perfect for our trip. The location is within walking distance of the ski slopes (which are perfect for kids and beginners). It was a short drive to the town centre and airport. We had cars but it would have been easy to get around using bus/taxi. The property itself was clean and lovely little touches such as a Christmas tree, toys, sweets on the pillows. The host messaged to give advice and check all was ok during our stay. We didn’t need anything but I’m sure she would have helped if we had any issues at all. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We are in love with Finland!

The only downside was the only shower was in the en-suite. We didn’t find it too much of a problem at all and everything else made up for it. Just something to be aware of.
