Great stay in Student Halls

Friendly staff greeted us and showed us where we could store our Bicycle. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Great location/Stay if you are doing the Alpe Adria Cycleway.

Great hotel for exploring the area, I would love to come there again someday!

I was very pleased with my room. It was equipped with a great working area, a spacious bathroom and a beautiful view from the window overlooking the mountains. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were super friendly, polite and helpful. I would love to stay at this place again if I ever come back to the area.

The price seems a bit too high, even though it is quite cheap compared to other properties in the area.

We felt the price was high for a dorm room on a school campus. This property is not a hotel.

Overpriced, there are better options for the same cost or less

The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful

Rooms very spartan, we arrived wet and cold having cycled and there was no heating provided. The check in is difficult, you have to phone ahead as the reception isn't manned, but the message is in German, so didn't understand what to do. The building is difficult to find as the entrance looks nothing like the picture on the advert, it turned out that the accommodation is in an adjacent building that can't be seen from the road. Breakfast was ok but everything was cleared by 9am while we were still eating even although check out is not until 11am. This is student accommodation and feels very much like halls of residence. All this would be ok if the price was reasonable, but we paid 122 euros for the night, so it is very overpriced for what it offers.

We were thoroughly pleased with our stay- easy, comfortable, affordable, and a great location!

Beds were very comfortable, location was great, breakfast had great options. Check in and out was easy and the price was great.

I know having A/C is not common here, but needing to keep the window open also meant hearing street noise in the morning and not being able to adequately block the sunlight (no curtains).

Friendly staff and interesting atmosphere. Breakfast was great.

Wifi a bit complicated to setup, but then it worked well with iPhone. Even together with the staff we did not get it working for our iPads. But it worked well with Android Tablets for other guests. Minor issue, but our iPads never had a problem at other sites.

Super hotel for a stopover or a base for trips

I would absolutely recommend this hotel. The lady at reception was so friendly and pleasant and showed us around the hotel and even up to our rooms. The rooms were quite basic, but modern. There was everything you could need and were very clean and comfortable. We were only there for one night, but it's a beautiful area and I think it would be a good base for trips. We didn't have breakfast, but when I passed through it looked good. Good free parking.

The sign for the hotel was quite discreet and we missed it, but we figured it out in the end.

Spotless, friendly and very accommodating.

The warden in charge of Kolpinghaus provided me with a wide range of fruit and nuts whilst I was quarantining. He also provided me with a bar fridge for my food.

No complaints. This is Avery clean and friendly and helpful property.

Wir würden wieder kommen.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach und funktional. Im Zimmer gibt es alles, was man braucht. Der Frühstücksraum ist eher nüchtern, aber es gibt das übliche Buffet und Extras wie Eier in unterschiedlichen Varianten auf Nachfrage. Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Atmosphäre familiär und persönlich. Meine Tochter und ich haben uns im Kurzurlaub jedenfalls wohl gefühlt.

Die räumliche Kombination mit Berufsschulunterkunft und AMS ist sicher gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber es hat uns nicht wirklich gestört.

Überaus zuvorkommendes Personal, das ist einfach hervorragend. Später Check-in problemlos, man kann sich einen Tee machen, mitten in Spittal; super Betten (nicht so weich), Lift.

Ruhiges Quartier, zentrale Lage, Zimmer ok, nicht preiswert

Das Kolpinghaus liegt in ruhiger Lage, ist allgemein und auch das Zimmer zweckmäßig ausgestattet, das Frühstück war gut, das Gebäck war noch warm, es hat soweit alles gepasst.

Mein Zimmer hatte Waschtisch, Dusche und WC in separatem Raum, das war nicht wirklich optimal, daher war der Preis nicht günstig.
