Great location and friendly atmosphere. They offer free walking tour and happy hour cocktails. Was a fun time with everyone joining together and chatting over drinks and nibbles. Comfy room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Walter made us eggs and his wife’s banana bread was delicious. Advised on various places to visit on our way back to Tirana.

This hostel was so lovely. We got the private room and it was so spacious and had a bathroom as well. We had a lovely view of the clock tower and Gjirokaster castle as well! the staff there were so friendly and helpful in giving us recommendations on where to go sightseeing and places to eat. they served a lovely breakfast with a spread of eggs, fruit, veg, bread and cake. the hostel is located right in the old town as well, so super convenient to walk around to all the sights and streets.

Honestly not much - I’m really not sure why it has such good reviews - would not recommend.
The room was dingy and old and extremely minimal, no curtains, the a/c hardly worked and it was boiling in the room. Theres 2/3 showers and toilets for the whole place it just really was not my kind of place. Breakfast was extremely basic. Fried egg and bread with two fruits
