Filoxenia - The Place of Experience

Wonderful quiet place, away from hustle. Beautifully simple! Anna and Thimios run the place with love and creativity and it shows is every detail. We spent there whole week, 2 adults and two big kids. It was wonderful to slow down in one place after exploring other parts of Albania. Closest beach is within walking/running distance. We used it only for short swim. We preferred to drive to more wild Buneci beach. Rooms have airconditioning. There is wonderful communal kitchen outside, where you can meet other guests and share tips;) it’s truly warm atmoshere. We also loved sitting outside in the evenings after driving around during the day. Anna is offering massage and she is great! We loved it. Highly recommend to use this possibility. We fullheartedly recommend Filoxenia to anybody looking for peace and simplicity! It’s a place where you want to come back. Huge thanks, Anna and Thimios, for letting strangers to become friends!

Anna was amazing, she let us know in advance via whatsapp how to get there and the instructions for the room - the accommodation was a hidden gem and we loved that also the rooms have stone floors and walls, which gave us a real stone-cave feeling and kept the room comfortably cold. Anna also took the time to sit with us the next day during check-out to give us some recommendations where to stop next on our trip or which parts to avoid/skip. Thank you so much for this very short but great stay with you!

Everything about the property was perfecg.

The hosts were lovely and very helpful with suggestions / planning our outings. The room was tastefully designed and the grounds were wonderful. A lot of care has gone into creating this space. Rustic in the best way. And finally, We really appreciated the beach umbrella provided.
