Himara Hostel

Main reason for a high score was the volunteers who helped out there. The grounds are ok with lots of space to chill and the beds were relatively comfy. Would definitely reccomend booking an en-suite dorm as the others/shared are not great. Moderately warm water.

The location isn’t great plus you have to walk down a gravel alleyway to actually get to the property. As others have mentioned there is no a/c and despite having a fan this was horrible especially in summer during a heatwave. Don’t come here expecting a decent sleep the room is so bright and because of the heat we had to leave windows open which allowed for even more light and noise in the morning.

Sweet volunteers. Lovely hammocks. Cats and dogs around. Not party.

Crazy shouty cleaner local lady. You can’t do anything right. Wrong plate, towel on floor, no aircon on, no blankets for curtains…. It’s endless ag!!! She shouts at you (into the void mostly in Albanian) for everything. You feel so on edge and unrelaxed. People weren’t really there to socialise much as it’s not a party hostel.

Very nicely decorated room and lovely garden. The location is also good a bit detached from the crowds

Only a short 5 min walk to the beach, and away from the chaos. Great breakfasts every morning, and nice garden to relax in.

Private room is very simple. Bed and a fan. For €50 was expecting more. Very quiet. Not much is done to create an atmosphere.
