What an amazing hidden gem in the heart of Madeira! This property was truly exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay completely effortless. From arranging a rental car that was conveniently dropped off and collected directly from the property, to having someone come by to organise payment and drop off the keys, every detail was handled seamlessly. The team also shared fantastic recommendations for food and things to do, which made exploring Madeira even more enjoyable. The breakfast/brunch deserves a special mention, hands down one of the best we’ve ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. A truly wonderful stay, made even more special by the incredible hospitality. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Their attention to detail is remarkable—nothing is accidental, nothing is overlooked. Breakfast is a daily celebration of quality: fresh ingredients, thoughtful combinations, and a sense of calm that sets the tone for the day. The entire property radiates a quiet magic. Every corner, every path, every room reflects a deep love for the place and for the guests who pass through it. Matthius was an incredible host! We arrived too late to get dinner so he popped into the kitchen and came out with a tasty quiche for us and glass of wine to enjoy on the terrace, perfect after a long journey! Breakfast was incredible, wide selection of hot and cold options. The whole place is immaculately clean and plenty of space in the beautiful grounds to find a quiet corner or relax by the pool. Only 15-20 minutes walk into Funchal with some great restaurants.

The only minor thing we didnt like was the clear glass wall between the toilet and bedroom meant no toilet privacy from your partner (we were in the skyroom) but it was fine we stacked our suitcases to create a barrier
