Valhalla Panorama

Location is good. Private bathroom. Basics are all present. Partial sea view Collection spot for lots of tour companies

Room got very warm by evening (went in October), and no air-conditioning. Madeira is all hills and VH is on quite a steep one. Can be a bit of a slog after a meal or returning from town Sea view also contains a derelict building site

Very clean, good facilities even though its not a hotel. Clean towels and bedsheets. Hair dryer, fan and everything you would need is there. Staff is helpful and super easy to check in and check out. Overall the best value for money at the price i booked and considering how late i did my bookings

Location is quite challenging to arrive. However, i liked the hikes to the city. Another thing is that its not quite soundproof so woke up quite a lot of times in the night. not very recommended if the person is noise sensitive

Location … .5 miles from old town Great view

Nothing it was quiet, clean, amazing view

The pool was nice

There was no air conditioner in the room, which made it really hot at nights and hard to sleep. Also, the room was full of mosquitos and ants. I check out from the room full of bites over my body. The ants were walking in the bed as well. Regarding cleanliness, it was not clean enough. There were very few electrical outlets and some of them really dirty. Regarding the bedding, there was no proper duvet cover, just u blanket on a separate bedsheet, so I am not very sure if they wash the whoke blanket after every guest.
