Excellent location, safe and easy to access, with friendly local neighbours and a lovely nearby cafe owner who always greeted me warmly everyday. The location is perfectly situated in a quiet part of old Funchal and walking distance to an array of local restaurants and main attractions. I felt very safe and the studio apartment was perfectly situated in for a solo traveller.
