The location of the property was amazing and the people working there were so lovely
There was a bit of an issue with hot water and the coldness of the fridge but think that was due to the slight mix up with which building we were in

The location. Open to the landscape, built for enjoying the views. The wood burner being easy and efficient. The kitchen facilities were better than expected.
There was mention of a sauna which appealed to us but its location being in a very public place, and next to the drive and bibs wasn’t very appealing.

Its location, lovely views and quiet though close to Kielder forest. Lovely owner.
Our fault really, didn’t check the sleeping arrangements. Though it sleeps eight, this is in a set of four bunks either side of a landing which is accessed via a set of quite steep stairs. For someone with mobility issues this would be a problem, especially as the only toilet is down stairs. If you managed to pull your suitcase up the stairs there is no storage areas.
