Poor and disappointing.

Good location. Great heating and hot water.

Furniture was filthy. Sofa was a petri dish of filth. Covered in stains with an attempt to cover them with a stained throw. Throws on the beds were stained also. End of the pull cord in the bathroom was black and filthy. Bathroom lino had a footpath of dirt where it been trodden for years. Washing up bowl cracked and taped up. Been cracked for months according to other reviews. Spend £5 and buy a new one. Sill fell off back door as soon as it was opened. Wood completely rotten.

Good location for a visit to our daughter who is at Newcastle university.

Nicely decorated, everything you might reasonably need was there.

Cold when we first got there. Beds in second bedroom were uncomfortable.

My daughter and I stayed in this lovely flat in Heaton, which is in a great location close to shops and restaurants. The heating was very good, and overall the flat offered excellent value for money.

There were, however, a couple of drawbacks. The noise from the flat above was quite intrusive, as the occupants stayed up late, and the sound insulation wasn’t great. A blind in the main bedroom would also have been useful for privacy since the window faces the main road. I had to rely on the curtains. Mattresses were a little lumpy and so were the pillows.

Very comfortable, clean, warm, good location, excellent value for money.

It’s a very convenient location and the flat has everything we needed. Well equipped with a small yard which was good with a dog. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, the water hot and the heating worked well. Altogether very comfortable - which is why we had returned and will hopefully do so again!

The front door could still do with a paint! The first appearance belies the comfort that lies behind the door. Parking was more of a challenge than when we stayed previously.

The location was very convenient and it was always easy to park on the road. Inside the flat was clean and comfortable.

From the outside the house looked very neglected with weeds and a door that needed painting.

Lovely visit to Newcastle

Lovely area. Lots of shops and places to eat and drink. Very clean flat. Cannot fault it. Very close to centre.

Location is excellent and the set up of checking in and communication was very good.

The cleanliness, scum mark right around the bath also water doesn't drain when you shower ( standing in backed up water), fridge dirty, sofa has stains all over it like something you'd see in a crack den, and one of the single mattresses is just springs with a cover, no filling,

Great family house for a few nights in the city.

Great house for my husband and I and our daughter, we really like the pared-back decor and Sofia the host was easy to communicate with. Recommended!

Few minor details, washing up bowl had a crack in, no cloth to wash dishes, few patches on the walls that could have done with a lick of paint.

A disappointment

The heating of the flat and very hot water.Quiet Street and comfortable beds.

Having read the description of 50 Biddlestone Road we were very disappointed that the property did not meet with our expectations based on the phootographs and the description.The lack of kitchen equipment ie only one large pan no scissors mismatched and chipped crockery no baking trays no tumblers for water.The fridge lacked a shelf.The washing up bowl was ctacked .The mirror in the hall has a chipped frame and no curtains are in the lounge or blinds in the kitchen.The cleanliness was poor with rusty dish drainer and shelf in the bathroom coupled with mildew to the side of the toilet on the bathroom wall and very dirty toilet brush.The three out of four dining chairs were broken and unusable.The cleanliness of the floors does not suggest specialist cleaning.We found medication from a previous guest in the bedroom bedside drawer.This property is not Boho or chic as suggested.

We stayed in the property for almost two weeks and found it lovely. Very well located, near metro, shops and supermarkets. The house is big and had everything we needed.

Proximity to family, on street parking and reasonably quiet area and rear outside sitting area is a bonus.

Lack of privacy in the front bedroom. Blinds would help. Also a lack of hand towels and face cloths. There was only 1 bath towel each for 4 nights. No large pint glasses.

Spacious, comfortable apartment. Will definitely look to book again and would recommend to others.

Bright airy apartment, simple but comfortable furnishings, very comfy beds. Clean modern bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. Adequate kitchen provision, again very clean and tidy. Responsive host provided key code and additional information in plenty of time. Would definitely stay here again.

Only minor things, parking could have been an issue but we got a space two doors away. Shower controls were very responsive so care had to be taken when setting the temperature. One of the main bedroom lamps wasn't plugged in. But none of these detracted from our stay.

Great homely flat with cozy beds and modern decor.

The house is a great space for friends visiting friends. We loved the bedrooms, very comfy, as well as a well-equipped kitchen and living room area. Great locations for shops and transport.

Small bits of maintenance to do (side bath panel broken, kitchen sink tap handle loose, hot&cold bath taps opposite way round). Tv signal was a little intermittent and the remote needed new batteries. Could do with blinds in the living room and bathroom also.
