Lovely 2 bed flat in the VERY CENTRE of Newcastle

Flat was perfect for the 4 of us, very clean and well equipped. Fabulous location in City Centre. Great value for money. We arrived earlier than checkin and hosts were very helpful at accommodating us. Will definitely be back

Can't think of anything really. Noise from surrounding venues at night but that's to be expected.

Firstly, everything you need for a short stay is provided in this flat: generous amounts of bedding, towels, cleaning supplies, cooking necessities like oil, salt, tea and coffee making supplies, etc (just bring actual food and drink). We found ample toiletries for several people for several days (all you'd need to bring is toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant) and enough laundry detergent for us to wash everything before we left. The flat even has "my" old washing machine (the last model I really liked and found convenient) and there is a good tumble dryer, a luxurious bath tub with wonderfully hot water, and enough powerful fans to withstand a heatwave. No, really, there were enough fans to ward off a hot flush and they were all within easy reach of one of the many power sockets, as were the very useful lamps (excellent lighting options for each area). Additionally, the rooms are generously sized and ergonomically furnished (everything in the most convenient place for easy and repeated use) and there were detailed, clear instructions for every aspect of the flat that might have been confusing. Finally, the decor was fabulous, fun, colourful, warm; I loved it all. I never wanted to leave.

As the owners warned us ahead of time, the lift was broken and only suitable for luggage etc (non-living things). Even for luggage, you need someone to run up/down the 3 flights of stairs and use the call button at the top/bottom. To a healthy, able-bodied person this wouldn't even be an issue; for me, it did curtail my ability to come out more than once per day. And I still think I'd move into the flat if I could. It was that lovely, convenient (once you're inside) and close to amenities and all the vibrancy of the city.

Excellent location right in the city centre but not on a main road. Bright and airy apartment with great views over the Groat Market below. 2 comfortable and clean bedrooms.

Communal entrance hall a bit oppressive. Lift to flat on 3rd floor not working. Owners did advise this in advance and it did not impact our decision to stay.

Lovely flat, everything we needed. Little drinks hamper on arrival. Excellent central location.
