A suitable place to stay for what we needed

nice facilities in bedrooms and living room, kitchen was also okay. bathroom facilities were poor, shower was rubbish and didn't really produce a good quality amount of water. we also had no hot water during our stay, it was on/off on/off the whole time. didn't have time to communicate with owner in order to sort as planned to be in and out and just use the facilities as a base when there.

no hot water, very unhappy that upon arrival we received a letter through the door shortly after, explaining there would be work commencing on the roof the next morning. so after arriving home after enjoying a night out, I was woken at 8:30/9am to banging on the roof. had we have known this , we wouldn't have booked this accommodation and would've expected the owners to warn us of this so that this wasn't the case. The flat roof was replaced so I am more than sure there was more than an hours notice like we received, and we wouldnt haven't booked the accommodation had we known this as you do not expect that.

Pleasant

-The apartment was very clean. -It's only 15 minutes from tynemouth beach. -Also has plenty of food places not far from the premises. -Up to date smart TV and WiFi worked well for what we needed. -Able to park right outside the apartment. -I found the bed very comfortable. -fridge kept all the drinks nice and cold. -All rooms were clean and tidy. -Decent price. -All rooms were decent in size.

-One of the sofas was so run down the padding was non-existent, down to the wooden frame in some places. -When contacting the proprietor to complain about the toilet and shower, I was just told to just keep flushing it and with the the shower to just have a mess about with it and it will work. These are general necessities that should work as a bare minimum.....the shower I managed to work after half an hour of messing and it just randomly started working. And the toilet each time would take ages before it would eventually flush. -The smell of scent plugs and scented sticks was so prevalent in my room it was giving me a headache and I had to spray the room with my cologne.

I had to turn people away as it was double booked ,says it all real poor apartment looked lovely in the photos!
