This enchanting 1925 building, once known as the Marine Apartments, a parking lot, and a verdant event space, has undergone a lavish transformation, emerging as the crowning jewel of 8th Ave – the smallest beach downtown in America!
As you step into your suite, you'll be greeted by brand-new furnishings that were meticulously curated. Smart flat-screen TVs grace the rooms, equipped with Hulu for your evening or rainy-day entertainment. In our kitchenettes, you'll find retro mini-fridges or full refrigerators, stoves, ovens, Keurig coffee makers, toasters, blenders, and a complete array of kitchenware, catering to both short- and long-term stays.
Nestled on the ground level, this cozy haven beckons with the allure of a regal king-size bed, promising a sumptuous slumber for up to two cherished guests. Each suite boasts a commodious full-size bathroom, complete with a blow dryer, iron, ironing board, and a luggage rack. For ultimate comfort and tranquility, blackout shades conceal behind bamboo blinds, ensuring restful nights and rejuvenating afternoon siestas.
La Tortuga has two outdoor sanctuaries for you to revel in. The upstairs balcony entices you with four sumptuous sofa chairs and a generous flat-screen TV. Downstairs, a gated pool, an outdoor dining table, and inviting lounge chairs await your leisure.

With one parking spot provided per unit and complimentary Wi-Fi, your comfort and convenience are our utmost priorities. Most of our units comfortably accommodate two adults, except for unit 8, which generously sleeps four.
For your peace of mind, we regret to inform you that we cannot accommodate pets. A signed contract and a valid ID are requisite for check-in, and for your safety, exterior cameras and shared hallway cameras diligently record audio and video 24/7. Please be mindful that climbing stairs may be necessary to access certain areas of the property.
Don't hesitate to inquire about renting the entire property for a special event, be it a reception, anniversary celebration, or corporate retreat.
Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and the washer and dryer occupy the second floor, requiring stairs for access. Units 6, 7, 8, and 9 reside on the ground level. Please be aware that none of our suites are ADA compliant, as the building is a cherished relic from 1925, steeped in historical significance in Pass-a-Grille, Florida.

Rooms very clean and recently updated. Pool wonderful and clean. Unfortunately guests were vaping and smoking at pool. No signs to or smoke at pool and argued that they owned there and could smoke and acted abusive toward us. Large signs on doors to rooms .No smoking. Batteries in door and tv channel changer died. Trashcan lid broken in 9. Would give a great review if smoking issue resolved.

We decided to do a last minute beach trip at the Tortuga location and it did not disappoint! The place was very clean and was in a great location! The kitchenette was well stocked. There were beach towels and chairs available to us as well. You are literally steps away from everything (beach, dog beach, restaurants, fishing and charters). There is a pool being installed on the property but it was not ready during our stay. The communication process through the property management company went smoothly. I would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking about staying here! We will definitely be back!

We found the Tortuga room well-appointed and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. It was spotlessly clean as well. Our only concern was that our room needed darker window coverings and the walls were so thin that we could hear conversations on the neighbors’ tv. Fortunately, using the dehumidifier was like using a white noise machine which blocked the tv noise and our neighbor’s coughing.

Communication very poor did not answer email or calls only one W/D for all units was never given the code for this room Bathroom extremely small no comfortable chair to sit in could only watch tv from bed everything was new and clean but could use dish drainer mat for tub and chair and able to watch tv from kitchen pretty but not practical
