Welcome to our 300-year-old fisherman’s cottage, where old-fashioned charm meets modern comfort
Experience a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort in this beautifully restored former fishermen’s cottage, located just steps from the beach. This cozy retreat offers a tranquil escape with the convenience of beachfront living, perfect for families or groups seeking a peaceful getaway.
This beautifully converted holiday home offers a romantic retreat with a private pool and terrace. The soft colors of the décor are perfectly complemented by the natural light that fills the rooms.
Located just 200 meters from the beach and close to the amenities of Praia da Luz, the cottage is ideally situated. A small supermarket and bakery are within walking distance, so you can easily pick up fresh bread and fruit. Free parking is available near the house.
Recently refurbished, the self-catering cottage includes three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a Moroccan-style bathroom with both a bathtub and shower, and a cozy sitting room. The thick walls of the traditional construction ensure the house stays cool in summer and warm in winter.
With two beds in each of the second and third bedrooms, there’s ample space for everyone. Curl up with a book in the sitting room or start your day with coffee and honey cake by the private pool. Enjoy a day at the beach or exploring local sights, and end your evening relaxing under the fruit trees on the shady terrace.
I’m thrilled to have you stay at one of our properties, each personally developed by me. Having lived in the Algarve for over 20 years, I’ve filled the cottage with unique and eclectic pieces collected from my travels around the world.
Enjoy a peaceful meal in your private garden or explore the local dining scene with numerous restaurants and bars nearby. For quiet evenings, you’ll find a selection of board games and books in several languages, perfect for undisturbed relaxation.

Rest easy knowing the beds are made and the closet is stocked with ample towels. The house is also equipped with soap, tea and dish cloths, herbs, dishwashing liquid, garbage bag, and the first roll of toilet paper.

It’s a cute cottage and is nicely presented but it has damp problems and is very cold. When we got into our beds on the first night the sheets felt damp. There is only one electric radiator in the back sitting room and a wood burning stove but we struggled to get the fire going with pine cones instead of kindling and only 5 matches left for this and the hob. Probably a lovely place in the summer when the weather is better. We were there in thunder storms and rain.

Conveniently located.
Parking not as easy as expected but we found spots the other side of the block.
Luz was not too busy yet but I think this little seaside resort will be bustling in the Summer!

What a wonderful rustic cottage with a great pool/yard space. The decor and comfort was great. The location was ideal with restaurants and the beach nearby. Parking is wherever you can find it nearby top or bottom of the hill as the road was too narrow to park. The amenities for the kitchen were well stocked. The lighting in the bathroom was dim but the lower part of the cottage had great light. It was cozy, comfortable and quiet- except for a neighbour’s dog excessively barking in the middle of the night. All 4 friends would stay again!

As this was our first visit to Portugal and the West coast, we couldn't have asked for a better experience than this! Fabulous stay!Everything is well equipped, and most of all, CLEAN! All the rooms and beds are ready upon your arrival, which is an extra comfort after a long journey.Plus the welcoming was great. You get welcomed by the lovely owner, and you can reach her during the rental period in case of a problem or a question.We felt very spoiled with this great life we had!Truly fantastic stay, I'd definitely recommend this house, it is really worth it! Can't wait to go there again next year!
