This spacious, beautifully designed 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath beach house offers the ultimate getaway for families and groups seeking tranquility, luxury, and coastal charm. Located just steps from the bay, you’ll enjoy breathtaking sunsets, endless water activities, and a true home-away-from-home experience.

Each of the 5 bedrooms boasts sliding glass doors that open to expansive, wraparound decks. Four bedrooms are outfitted with plush king-size beds, while the fifth features a brand-new queen bed for ultimate comfort. The two master suites offer an extra touch of luxury, with the main floor Master Bedroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and the second-floor Master enjoying its own private ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans to keep you cool, and two come with flat-screen TVs for your entertainment.

The main living area is perfect for gathering, with a cozy gas fireplace and a 60" flat-screen TV to enjoy movie nights or a quiet evening in. Step outside onto the large deck, or relax in the screened-in porch that opens to a dining table on the deck – perfect for al fresco dining while soaking in the incredible bay views.

For those who love the outdoors, this home is a paradise. With a large yard facing the bay, a private pier, and two kayaks available for guests, you can launch right from the property for a peaceful paddle on the water. We enjoyed a lot about this property. The cove view is beautiful, the neighborhood quiet, with plenty of parking and a reasonable walk to a private, uncrowded beach. The kitchen had new pots, pans, and dishes, and the large washer and dryer were great for beach towels.I do need to raise one serious safety concern. At the end of our stay, the yellowed discoloration of one smoke detector caught my attention, a common sign of a unit well past its lifespan. On closer inspection, the smoke and CO detectors were not operable. One was screwed to the wall but not connected to anything, giving a false sense of security. Another was too high to reach or test without a ladder. Most alarming was the manufacture date: 1995. I notified the owner and VRBO, as it weighed on me to realize I had unknowingly placed three generations of my family in harm's way. I received no explanation from the owner.Smaller notes: the kitchen appliances are very dated, and the gas grill was old and broken, though the property manager delivered a replacement the next day. The upper level has a back wall of sliding glass doors with sheer coverings that don't keep it cool, averaging around 83 degrees, hotter when cooking.I also noticed no reviews since summer 2024, which left me wondering what recent guests experienced.I did meet the owner, who was very kind and interesting to talk with. This beach house has real potential, and with a few updates and repairs, it could be exceptional.

Property was beautiful with wonderful views to be enjoyed and easy access to everywhere you want to be in Bethany and surrounding areas. Attention needed in some showers ie. mold, sheets, pillows and towels sub-par, carpet throughout home very dirty. Some mattresses need replacing/toppers.

The property is very well situated for both beach and for the estuary. crossing the highway to get to the beach is a chore but seeing the sunsets over the estuary is a big plus compared to beachside properties. With five bedrooms (only two en suite) it accommodates two families easily. The very large sitting room/kitchen overlooking the estuary is a great gathering spot without being crowded. Henry the owner was available on short notice to rectify and amplify!

We chose this house for our family Christmas for the large upstairs kitchen and family room and the view. We had a wonderful few days! There was ample sleeping space, bathrooms, hot water and space to gather. The sunset views from the deck were incredible. We would only recommend to the home owner to supply a few good knives for cooking.
