We spent a wonderful week on the farm as a family during the Easter holidays. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The farm is in a wonderfully peaceful location, yet everything is easily accessible - the perfect base for exploring the Moorlands. The cottage looked exactly as it did in the online photos. We immediately felt at home; everything we needed was there. We were particularly impressed by the exquisite furnishings, the incredibly comfortable beds (everyone knows how important good mattresses and a good night's sleep are on vacation), and the cleanliness. We would especially like to emphasize the friendliness of Morgan, who looked after us and answered all our questions. In general, everyone we met on the farm was open-minded and friendly. There's no doubt that we fell in love with the lambs and especially had a lot of fun with the lively Bisquit, who loved to be petted. We thoroughly enjoyed the days and would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your excellent hospitality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in the Peak District! It was beautifully renovated & had all the comforts of home! We would definitely consider staying again & enjoying the farm a little more! With the hosts directions we had no trouble finding our way!

The property itself could be lovely, but was not suitable for us. The biggest issue for us was that it was cold. The floor was cold which surprised me as it has underfloor heating. Also the air in the room was cold which is the opposite of the reviews of warm and cosy. We asked the owner whether he had any heaters, he said he would look but did not come back to us that evening or the following morning. The shower room had mildew and old soap scum (pink) on the tiles, and there is now a transparent shower curtain, which was not on the photos, and was quite dirty. Our daughter has allergies and these were triggered by something that evening. (She has a confirmed allergy to dust mites). We do not go on holiday to watch TV, but we would point out that there was no signal, although there are plenty of dvds to watch. Our Granddaughter was cold and miserable as were we, so we packed up and left the next morning, we had booked four nights. I emailed that we had departed early, and this is day four after leaving and have not received any correspondence back. This is the first time I have ever left a property after one night.

Really lovely barn conversion, spotless and comfortable with lots of nice touches like toys for children. It’s a working farm with a very hospitable host, Neil is really helpful and friendly, there are lots of great walks nearby and a pub in the next village that does good food and has a micro brewery with excellent beer. We had a lovely short break, thank you Neil!

Very nice clean and airy converted barn set adjacent to farmers house. Solid floors and furniture. Sloped ceilings in main bedroom and bathroom (mind your head!). Long rough track to farm. Very quiet. Away from any main roads. Great outlook all around the farm. Lambs made us smile by nodding living room window and watching us & TV! Recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this cottage .It was extremely well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay, Very clean and well decorated with comfy beds and a great shower. We also loved the outside seating and dining space behind the cottage .Could not fault this in any way, and will certainly book again if we are in the area.
