Bank House was the perfect base for our cycling break in the Peaks. We loved the characterful house, and the well-appointed kitchen made it so easy for meal prep and cooking. Communication and check-in with Karen was also such a breeze. Even though temps fell to around 13 degrees at night (in July) the house seemed very well-insulated as we remained cosy. We'd be very pleased to return.
The single beds were on the soft side - we would have preferred these to offer more support but understand this could be a personal preference.

Liked the shabby rustic look of the apartment, lots of character. Great location. Spacious apartment for one.
Furniture a little tired. No coffee pot to make coffee in the morning. Quite a convoluted explanation of how to find the keys, which made it more difficult to find.
