About this house rental

With stunning lagoon and golf views and an easy stroll to the ocean, you’ll be sure to be loving life at 15 Lake Village Lane. Recently remodeled, this wonderful 3-bedroom, 2 bath offers luxurious amenities and one of the best views on the island, off of the beach! Don’t let the location fool you, the beach is an easy walk just 10 minutes away, much of it along a well-cared for beach path. Best of all, are the sunsets at 15 Lake Village Lane. Ideally positioned, the sun sets down the coastal lagoon with the Harbor Golf Course across the water. Enjoy one of the most beautiful low county sunsets sitting by the water as the sky turns from a brilliant pink to a deep orange in minutes. You will not be alone, as dozens of white heron perch seasonally on a small island in the middle of lagoon most evenings. It is truly breathtaking!

15 Lake Village provides a serene place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Wild Dunes. The living room has vaulted ceilings; its interior is illuminated with natural lighting and outfitted with a sumptuous sectional sofa and large swivel recliner. The positioning of these furnishings makes this room ideal for conversation or watching a movie or sporting event on the flat screen television. Adjoining the living room is a beautifully decorated dining area and nicely renovated kitchen. The dining table has views of the lagoon and comfortably provides seating for 8. The kitchen and dining space are separated by a nice granite peninsula counter. The kitchen is well-appointed with granite countertops, fresh white cabinetry and all essential appliances. Also, off the living room is a versatile sunroom that provides seating for dining or plush upholstered chaise lounges for napping or enjoying the view.

On the front side of the accommodation you’ll find the three bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king size bed, private bathroom and walk in closet. One of the guest rooms is furnished with two double beds and the other a king bed. Both guest bedrooms share access to a nice hall bathroom. A washer and dryer are provided in this unit and are available for use. Entertainment features for this condo include four TVs, four DVD players, an ipod docking station and high-speed internet with wireless access!

Wild Dunes is located on the northeast end of the Isle of Palms. The private community boasts two excellent golf courses and 2 1/2 miles of beach. There are many restaurants in the community. The Village at Wild Dunes features shopping and the Sand and Sea Spa. Miles of bike trails run through Wild Dunes.

- Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking.
- This property does not have access to a pool.
- Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes.
- Guests have access to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately.
- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Located in a gated community, we felt very safe. The view was beautiful, particularly the sunset on the lagoon. Close to the beach and historic Charleston, there was so much to choose from, including spending time talking in the sunroom.

This property is all about the views from the sunroom, which is where I spent the majority of my time. Great spot for bird and ( golf) birdie watching. Saw a couple of gators too. Home has a great open concept layout. Bathrooms are small, but sufficient. Beds were comfy. We had one small maintenance issue, that was quickly resolved.

The property is located in a gated community. The home sits at the end of a cul-de-sac and is very quiet and peaceful. The home is need of some repair. There are multiple broken/cracked floor tiles in the bathrooms which is most pronounced in the kitchen. The kitchen is adequately supplied with cooking equipment, but lacks for anything other than salt and pepper. You will have to provide anything further. The dry wall tape in one corner of a bedroom is separating from the wall and in need of repair as well as one door constantly rubbing the door jam. Three light bulbs were burnt in the bathroom upon arrival. Property management was quick to respond with replacements. The porch area is wonderful which overlooks the water. There you can see turtles, fish, and many birds. The ocean is just a short walk from the home. The property is clean and adequate, but simply needs to be repaired and updated. A few night stands in the extra room would be a nice touch.
