Had a lovely cosy stay at this well appointed cottage.

It was very well appointed and equipped - very comfortable indeed. Lovely and clean.

Lovely break in a beautiful town and cottage

Central location however peaceful as down an alleyway. Parking permit allowed us to park easily around the corner from the property. Lovely little cotrage with everything you need.

It was a good, clean, well equipped apartment in a great location that we would use again. X

Central position in town yet in a quiet location. Lovely shower. We didn’t cook there at all but seemed to have everything needed. Never had any trouble with parking in St Michaels Lane.

Spec said there was a bath but there wasn’t. A minor point was poor signal on tv. Had to give up on news couple of times. Suspect that is unavoidable. Whilst I appreciated the thought behind the bread and scones in the welcome pack we didn’t use them so they were wasted. Maybe leave non perishables?

Central to all amenities and lots of things surrounding Alnwick to enjoy as a family.

The property was lovely and modern, it was central to all amenities within town and out of town, and was just the right size for a couple with a toddler for 5 nights.

The only thing we thought would have benefitted us, would have been to have a stair guard and a highchair to make it more baby/toddler friendly. The property was clean to initially look at, but digging deeper into the kitchen cupboards, we found a lot of food crumbs, hairs and also one of the frying pans was covered in grease. The same inside the drawers of the chest of drawers in the small bedroom. The price was reasonable, so we couldn’t grumble, these are just small things I would pick up on if I were running a holiday cottage.

Our eldest son recently moved to the area for work and we combined a visit to Alnwick Castle Gardens

Superb

Lovely comfy, clean and modern, little Cottage, great location for shops and restaurants. 10/15 min walk to Alnwick Castle and same for the gardens. Parking around the corner a bonus. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely go back.

The property was lovely. It was clean and cosy. The location was quiet. Lovely decor.

Other reviews said that they had an excellent welcome basket. We only received a pack of biscuits and a few tea bags. Apart from that everything was great

Beautiful getaway

Very beautiful cottage in the perfect location, a stone's throw from the town centre. We had some confusion over the parking, as the guests before us had taken the permit with them, but the locals were very sweet and helpful. We had a wonderful mini break and would love to return for longer!

Outside area not as described. The Property was described as ‘dog friendly’ but the outdoor space not suitable for pets to use. Second bedroom is very small for a double.

Fantastic little gem in Alnwick

Very clean, well equipped, everything you could need was there and in a great location with parking. We're definitely going back again

Superb

Very quiet. Well equipped. Proximity to town centre. Very clean. Food welcome basket excellent as was the choice of teas and coffees. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of clean towels. Felt like we were living on a Dickension street with large street lamps. Listening to the church bells chime was special Lots of birds in the garden.

A few things like bin liners, eco dishwasher tablets, more loo rolls and tin foil would save a short walk to Morrisons. Parking is on next street which is a cul-de-sac. Double gates to courtyard for Dodds Nook were quite heavy and hard to open. Old Chapel attached is being renovated into a hotel so a little noisy during the day.

comfortable beds very clean and tidy excellent welcome basket with great selection of food fresh flowers much appreciated

no iron or ironing board which we were annoyed about no washing machine only one toilet roll and one bin bag
