Wizards world in alnwick

The apartment is centrally located for alnwick town. The beds were comfortable. The facilities were perfect and it was extremely clean. Even as 3 adults we were delighted with the Harry Potter theme & kids would love it. We had a small issue which we contacted the owners about directly. They were incredibly helpful & I was very grateful to them.

It is very difficult to park near the flat. Which made it a bit difficult to unload our stuff. We managed to park in a nearby car park for free all weekend. We visited on a bank Holiday weekend when there was also a festival on, so hopefully it will be easier to unload outside at other time of year

The whole place is brilliant, well equipped, clean and spacious, Harry Potter themed, but not over done, everything you need is there, great amenities and tastefully done, loved it!! Will be back 😍

Komfortable, leidenschaftlich möblierte Wohnung, im Herzen der Stadt

Geschmacksvolle, geräumige, leidenschaftlich möblierte Wohnung auf der ersten Etage, im Harry Potter Style, die in ihren 2 Schlafzimmern und einem großen Wohnzimmer ausreichend Platz für 4 bis 5 Personen bietet. Zwei große, bequeme Betten. Hervorragend ausgestattete Küche, mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, ein großer Fernseher mit einem DVD-Player. TV-Kanäle haben wir nicht getestet und k.A. ob diese vorhanden sind. Über HDMI-Kabel ist es möglich eigenen Player oder Computer an den Fernseher anzuschließen. Das WLAN funktioniert zuverlässig und ist ausreichend um einen Netflix anschauen zu können. Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, direkt an der Strasse mit mehreren Geschäften und Restaurants. Der Lärm von der Strasse ist in den Schlafzimmern nicht wahrnehmbar, weil diese von der Innenseite liegen. Nachts ist es in der Umgebung sehr ruhig. Parken vor dem Haus ist für 2 Stunden kostenlos. Für längeres Parken stehen in der Reichweite von 5 Gehminuten zwei größere, kostenlose Parkplätze.

Das Etagenboden ist dünn und hellhörig. Wenn man Pech hat, und in die drüber liegende Wohnung, auf der zweiten Etage eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern einzieht, die von Sofa auf den Boden springen oder rennen, so wackeln die Schränke. Am ersten Abend war es der Fall. Nach unserer Beschwerde hat wohl der Besitzer die Gäste von oben darauf aufmerksam gemacht, weil danach war es schon oben viel ruhiger. Das benachbarte Haus wird aktuell renoviert und es ist mit einem Lärm wegen Bauaarbeiten, zwischen 8 und 17 zu rechnen. Während unseres Auenthaltes haben die Bauarbeiter ihre Arbeit ca. um 9 begonnen. Es hat uns eher wenig gestört weil wir tagsüber draußen waren.
