Location was perfect. Short distance from the center. Nice place.

AC could have been a bit more powerful. It got a bit hot during the hot days.

you cannot beat this view. the sounds of the waves, the cafe lined street and great running along the beach side. Maria is incredibly nice and very helpful.

Everything! It was a perfect place to stay! Excellent location, in from of the sea,many restaurants around, easy to walk to many places. Kitchen fully equipped, beds were confortable! I recommend!

+ Great location! Very close to the centre and the Palais. And in the midst of cafes, restaurants and stores. + Beautiful view!! Faces the sea straight up. Easy walk to the beach. + The caretaker of the property - Martha - is excellent! She is amicable, friendly, helpful, even goes out of her way to help make it easier for you - despite the other issues at the property. It gets the rating because of the view, location and Martha!

- Cannes is hot in June. Very hot. And I have low heat tolerance. I’d specifically asked the owner via Booking.com if there was airconditioning in the apartment. And the owner replied yes it was fully air conditioned. I went in expecting it to be. But was surprised to see one small AC unit on the lower floor which only cooled the space in front of it. it’s a duplex - across two levels. And one small unit is not enough. The top level where the bedroom and bed is has NO AC and it is boiling hot! It is claustrophobic. The AC of the building doesn’t work because none of these do in Cannes’ buildings. I had to draw the curtains shut for 3 days flat and keep the AC on downstairs for it to become mild. And slept downstairs on the comfortable sofa bed throughout the trip. I ended up paying for a room upstairs I didn’t use. Else it was suffocating and I’d have left. Martha said that was the case unfortunately and was kind enough to go to her place and get a standing fan to help :) Bless her. But it made no difference. Not her fault. The owner wasn’t honest, despite being asked, hence, this place lost ratings. In that heat, AC is expected for those used to it and wanting it. Not being transparent, isn’t cool. Will I stay again? If the AC is fixed on both levels, yes. if not, no. Bu4 thank you Martha for making the stay bearable.
