Find another place if you expect a clean and modern place, not worth compromising for "value"

I liked the central location, near shops and cafes

It is not really a guest house or B&B, these are old apartments without reception or any facilities. The owner tried to charge me 25 euro for checking in earlier, however, the room was not ready, it didn't have one large double bed as described, it had two single beds, which later they put together, changed the bedding and they called it "a double bed", and you could not sleep in the middle. The bed lamp did not have a bulb, they had to go and look for one. The room did not look anything like on the pictures of the rooms from the guest house. There rooms look modern and clean, it showed a terrace that made me believe that the guest house guests would have access to it but this was just a terrace for one of the apartments. The cleaning lady did not speak English. I didn't even try to ask them to keep my luggage till my evening flight, they try to charge me for it. I had to drag the bags to a local storage place and paid 12.5 euro to keep it there for 4 hours. The pictures in the room looked ridiculous and the room, as well as the whole property, was tired and outdated. It had many cracks and it was dusty. Kitchen very dark with the view of the shaft and old drafty windows.

Roomy apartment in the center

The apartment is roomy with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (good for 2 families) and has great location in the center of old town - walking distance to main attractions, shops and restaurants. Great communication with the host and welcome drinks in the fridge.

When we arrived the central heating was off, so it was a bit cold (January). Also we could not get some air conditioners to heat some rooms. Due to the central position there is a bit of noise from the street until the shops/restaurants close.

A lovely 4 bedroom apartment to stay in central old town.

The property is located centrally in the old town within walking distance of the sights and eateries. A nice kitchen and two shower rooms.

The lift is very small and you need to be careful using it as it opens onto the stairs.

Location, rooftop terrace, friendly neighbours.

Overall, the apartment wasn't in that good condition as in the pictures and what its rating shows. Its rather a 7 out of 10. We stayed on the 5th floor.

the location was perfect and the room was pretty big and comfortable. a cleaning service was available.

the communication with the host was not so good. she did not give us any information about the check in oder check out and we stood there for about 1h without any information.

Good

The room was in a central location, near most main attractions, so we visited Valencia mostly on foot. The room and the bathroom were spacious and had everything we needed (sockets, hairdryer, etc.).

It was basically just a room, there was no reception or other facilities. It was good for what we needed though, and it had a little table in the hallway with a microwave and a kettle, tea and coffee.

The House location is great in the City center near Collon metro stadion. Easy to reach the City destinations. The sea is reachable by bus in 30-35 minutes.

Overal the hause and the rooms were clear. We found one Cockroach in the bathroom which dissappoint us.

very nice cosy great value guest house but hard to access upstairs as lift very small.not suitable if you expect recepti

we had a beautiful big family room with 3 beds, bathroom and 3 balconies with great views onto a pedestrian street with music and lots of restaurants. the bathroom was spacious and decor fresh and modern. the bathroom fittings were quite new and worked efficiently. the extra toilet paper and cups with kettle and microwave available on the landing. the lady explained the instructions how to get in with the keys and codes and we managed to get in even though there’s no manned reception. she replied to questions in a timely manner.

there weren’t spare pillows in the cupboard and the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. we got 1 spare pillow upon request. the lift was very small and barely fits 3 people. pushchair access is difficult. if you dont understand the instructions you need to arrange assistance.

Central to where we needed to be. Coffee and tea supplied which was a nice touch but no milk. Wasnt a problem we bought our own.

Air con didn't work so we had to use the bathroom heater wrong remote supplied. Shower ran cold after first shower, and we don't take long showers. Towels weren't initially provided had to contact the person to ask for them, the towels were only big enough to wrap around a small child No option of extra pillows, only one provided and it wasn't a proper pillow. Noisy cafes below, if you don't want to be woken at 8am don't stay here.

Great location and friendly host

Great location, close to Colon metro and the trainstation. A lot of restaurants nearby. The host, Lola, was available and friendly. The rooms, including the bathroom, was large and clean. The beds were comfortable.

The apartment could use a nicer interior design. It smelled a bit bad from the drains, (as it did almost everywhere in the city at times). Two set of keys to the apartment, instead of just one, would make the stay easier for two people, since you may want to explore the city seperatly on occation. The rooms had no view.

Basic apartment with nice location

The location was very good. Directly in the citycenter.

There was only one AC in the living area, but any in the bedrooms. That should be mentioned at booking. The window of the kitchen needs something to make shadow, otherwise the sun heats the apartment to much. Very disappointing was the elevator situation, which should also be mentioned at booking. The apartment is on the 5th floor and the elevator ends at the 4th floor. There is not even place to escape from it, as the door of it opens to the 1x1m square next to it. That was very annoying as we were traveling with a small child and his buggy and I'm pregnant.. as we arrived to the place, I was moving up in there with 2 leagues, 1 small child, 1 buggy and pregnant belly. Escaping at the final floor was an adventure. :( The apartment is very basic.

Superb

We've had an amazing stay at Kasa Katia. We stayed in the Apartment with terrace and we absolutely loved it. It was very spacious with a nice kitchen (fridge for the wine ;)) and two bedrooms (double and single). As you can read in the comments... the bathroom is small. But it didn't matter to us because the room was very clean. We really liked the terrace. To reach the terrace you need to go out of the apartment and walk about 2 meter to enter the outside area. It's unique to have a place like this in the center of Valencia. Also great that we could leave our luggage in the accommodation for a couple of houres on the day of departure. Would definitely recommend!

More towels would have been better (we got 2 per person and stayed 4 nights)

Clean apparment in central location

Clean, basic furniture but comfortable and pleasent. I liked the fact that there was a washing mashine because I was in the transfer between 2 business trips. Location perfect, and surprisingly quite at nights

As a solo female traveler, I felt a bit iinsecure about the main street doors that were always open, because the loterry shop is inside. Bathroom is supertiny, I can not imagine more corpulent person to use that. It would be great if kitchen was suplied with basic wellcoming ingredients - a good quality selection of teas and a coffee. Aircondition only in kitchen-living room. Terace, that I was really looking forward to use was outside the appartment, in an unpleasent surrounding, so inconvenient.. I would say that photos of the property are confusing, as there are few different rooms and appartments all mixed up

lift a bit temperamental so 6 flights of stairs was hard after a long day’s sightseeing and shopping - but good for the thighs ;)
