I like this apartment and the neighborhood very much. I hope to stay again and again!

I was very comfortable staying 4 1/2 weeks in this charming place. Although I never met the owner, I was warmly greeted by the waiting concierge -- Marie could not have been more welcoming and kind. She showed me around the apartment and always greeted me when we passed in the building, answering any questions I might have and just generally making me always feel welcome. The area is very residential although there is one small and one large market within a few blocks. It's peaceful at night -- most of the cafes are near Place d'Italie which is also a good transit hub and about a 15 minute walk away. There is a small marche for fruit and veggies and cheese along the street in front of the apartment several days a week and larger Sunday marches on Avenue d'Italie and Blvd Auguste Blanqui. Bus #67 runs along Rue Bobillot about every 20 minutes and it is easy to get to central Paris, sometimes with one easy transfer. This is not a busy tourist area but it is a lovely area to explore when one is wanting a quieter day. I would happily stay in this apartment again and I do hope to return next Fall.

The property is situated outside of the main tourist drags in Paris whilst being near enough to enjoy everything in the city. It is spotless, characterful and lovely and quiet. The flat entrance is on the 6th floor (theres a lift) in a confined area where you arent disturbed by neighbours or any other noises. Small but cosy and not a cramped property; very well equipped and everything is good quality. Great to have a balcony area so the flat never feels too stuffy. We slept well but the mattress is a hard one. Plenty of shops nearby in what is a quiet neighourhood in walking distance to Parc Montsouris - a beautiful hilly park lovely for a picnic on a nice day. Staying here was a great way of having a non-touristy experience in Paris without being removed from the city and if you need organic/specialist diet foods theres a great store 10 minutes away. The lady manager was lovely and got back to us quickly with travel instructions. Definitely recommended!
