Basic, simpel hotel

Very simpel hotel. They have their own parking area. You can have a drink in the brasserie and city centre is very close.

Excellent stay over option for Verviers

The room is spacious and quiet. Bedding is comfortable and owner accommodating when I needed to change my dates.

The room I had (#8) was on the third floor and that were 56 steep steps. Ask before booking where the room is as it’s quite a climb. Parking is large and adequate for cars. For motorcycles beware it’s with deep gravel meaning you’ll need to get or find a slate to be able to rest your bike on.

A gem for a weekend at the Grand Prix

Breakfast was a very generous and comprehensive continental style offering with a wide range of meats, cheeses, prepared and in-shell egg, fruit, waffles accompanied by good quality juice or coffee and hot drinks. Location was good - easy to access coming into the town off the motorway and just a few minutes walk from the Centre and the river. Good tourist information, including in English. Our room was a generous space, spotlessly clean, considering the age of the building, which was all of a piece with the overall charm and ambience. Facilities for hot drinks preparation appreciated, as were good blackout curtains at the window. Clear instructions re check-in times, a warm welcome and a basic car park adjoining made it a great stopover choice. I would certainly return if travelling in the area again.

The room didn't have a great view, but we chose to have a quiet room and a room facing the street would likely have been noisier.

Highly recommended plus some old world charm!

Twin bedroom with bathroom vg .. paid extra €25 for twin with bathroom instead of single on 2nd floor... worth it. Bed soft but comfortable. Shower brilliant design with waterfall-type head. Fairly busy, slow moving traffic outside, but double…triple glazing on balcony doors worked well to reduce this. Good breakfast for €12.00. GF bread available! Very friendly & helpful staff. Car park adjacent to hotel with plenty of space with gates closed/locked at night. Several restaurants nearby within 5-10 minutes walk. Main railway station just across the road & to the left.

Some might not like old fashioned but classically beautiful decor/architecture but I loved it, it being full of character.

Great place to stay, partiuclarly for Spa Francorchamps

I have stayed here a few times and I always enjoy coming back. Maggy went above and beyond for me this time and made my life so much easier. The location, rooms and breakfast were all great

Clean hotel with a good parking space

I stopped over for a night while driving through europe. Easy parking and clean room with good beds. Decent breakfast avaible.

Would stay again

A reasonably priced simple hotel, centrally-located in Verviers. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. We had bicycles which were stored overnight outside in the hotel car park, secured by a strong chain provided by the hotel.

The front rooms suffer from traffic noise. Reception closes at 1900 hrs, so no late check-in.

The 73€ was an OK price for the 1-night stay, on our journey for the Calais ferry.

Welcomed by the host & the room was clean. There is a Pizza Hut takeaway across the street from the hotel that provides for a meal - you have limited mobility access to find a restaurant in Verveirs after thee car park is locked at 8pm (though you could just resolve this problem by look for a parking space on the street in the area around the hotel).

Very tired building and room, hanging rails for clothes. The hotel & the car park are locked at 8pm so, you need to use the key supplied with the room key to gain access to the hotel & the car park is locked with your car in it 8PM, if you chose to park there. We did not think that the breakfast was worth the 11€ we paid each. It was pretty limited.

Excellent hotel for price/value

Reception was very friendly and helpfull. Because I needed to leave early next day, the owner was making the breakfast earlier available. Also the owner was very friendly. Nice comfy room with all facilities available. Also free parking next to the Hotel. When you need to be in the Neighborhood, I can recommend this hotel.

Because of the outside high temperature, the room was pretty warm. A ventilator was available but was not sufficient to get the room cooler.

Very friendly owners. This centrally located Hotel is charming and priced fairly. Good on site restaurant also. Beds were confortable and the bathroom also. Nicely decorated rooms.

There is no elevator but that is mentioned on the website and not (yet...) a problem for me. So it's not really a complaint, just worth mentioning.

127 years old hotel

The atmosphere of the bar was very unique full of history. Parking next to the hotel, which is locked in the night. Small gifts - belgian chocolate and pen in the room for every guest. Delicious breakfast full of regional products for 11 euro per person.
