    Hotel is serviceable rooms a very small furniture is poor state of repair Reception staff not helpful got liked out of room at night time but they could not get us back in after 2 hours allocated us new room but we had no belongings or my meds as they were in locked room it took a family member we were travelling with to sort it out the next morning and we were heading on a flight home a daunting experience and am shocked that this can happen not offered a drink of water in the heatwave just awful

    Pleased with the stay, clean room and friendly staff. Location is excellent with 4 different underground lines within walking distance. Bed and pillow could have been comfier but no complains.

    Excellent location with a few italian restaurants nearby. It is a few minutes walk from Paddington station with direct connections to the airport and various lines around the city. They charge a 5 pound fee if you arrive early and need to store your luggage before checkin.

    Zero soundproofing and consequently you can hear literally everything from the hallways and other rooms. Doors slamming, ancient floors creaking, conversation, phone alerts, street noise, modified sport exhaust… Furthermore, the condition of the building is decrepit. Black electrical tape over cracked doors, furniture which looks like it was retrieved from a garage dump, bathrooms which are impossibly small and have decades of soap film and calcium deposits. The floors are neither flat nor level. The beds are small and have inconsistent mattresses. Electric and switches are all ancient and inconvenient. The double locks on the front doors open with all keycards so offer no protection from housekeeping. When this place was 10 years younger and went for £40 a night it was something approaching value for money. Now it is an affront to basic comfort and safety. Should be condemned.
