Great location, 2 blocks from Paddington station and lots of eating establishments. Staff did an excellent job making me feel welcome. I though it was great value overall.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.
We stayed in *** and discovered extensive visible mould throughout the bathroom, including on the ceiling, around the shower, the silicone and even on the window blind. We raised our concerns with reception and requested a room change or refund. We were told to return the following morning to see if another room might be available, but this was not guaranteed and required us to interrupt our holiday.
When we returned later that day, we were told no room was available and our request for a refund was refused. As we no longer felt comfortable staying in the room, we checked out early and paid for alternative accommodation at our own expense.
The most disappointing part was not only the condition of the room, but the lack of a practical resolution and the refusal to take responsibility. We have photographs documenting the condition of the room.
I hope the hotel addresses these maintenance issues so future guests don't have the same experience.
