Relaxed and peaceful. A great place to stay.

The whole stay was great. Staff very polite and helpful, breakfast had plenty of choice and was hot and well cooked. The room had all the facilities that you could ask for, the bed was lovely and comfortable. The Christmas decorations were wonderful. The meals in the restaurant were very nice, good chooine, reasonably priced

All of the staff were very good, engaging and made us feel welcome, makes a big difference. The food was also great in both the resturant and for breakfast, apreciated the higer quality produce etc. Also enjoyed the golf too..

Very professional independent hotel with fantastic service

Staff very friendly and happy. Rooms a good size Lovely cooked Derbyshire breakfast - perfect portions Car charging dedicated and in front of the hotel

Would prefer tea leaves and larger tea pots or at least extra hot water on side. Restaurant in evening was very busy and felt a bit cramped and hectic. Thur night and Fri night A few More toiletries like body lotion would be welcomed

A real gem of.a hotel that’s consistently excellent

This is a fantastic hotel. Have stayed here many times on my visits to Derby. It’s consistently good. Great rooms and the electric car charging facilities are excellent. Plus the Roosters restaurant offers a great dining experience. And did I mention the really good breakfasts?

Love Morley Hayes, very classy, beautiful relaxed country feel to the place. Absolute quality in everything they do. Food is phenomenal, setting is beautiful, facilities and room was great and always made to feel welcome there by Andrew, Jane and the team.

Really nice room and pleasant helpful staff, nice surroundings

We had a complimentary room upgrade to a suite, this was the first time this has happened to us. My husband spent a couple of hours on his own in the room after we checked in, he was able to enjoy the sunshine on the patio. Breakfast was good, lots of choice.

It was quite expensive considering there isn’t a spa or a pool, if you aren’t there for the golf, the only entertainment is the restaurants and bars, which means you spend more!

LOVERLY RELAXING HAPPY FEW DAYS STAY

The room was large clean and very comfortable Room was re stocked and cleaned during our stay Dinner was in The Dovecote restaurant which was excellent Special menu created for my dietary requirements There was everything to choose from for breakfast and was plentiful

Cost of the room is kn the high side and there would have Bern an additional charge to gave a sofa bed and a double bed we had to go with twin beds even though I prefer a double. 200 seems a lot if money for one night.

Bathroom is very tired and after 20 years since opening could do with sink and bath changing now, thought the sink was dirty but damaged with age.

We achieved our goal which was a lovely relaxing weekend and will visit this hotel again.

Our room was lovely and we had a balcony overlooking the golf course. Our breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order. We ate dinner at Roosters Bar and the Dovecote both were very good and we felt they were good value.recommend booking though as they get busy.

A perfect mini vacation, also for a not golfer!

Breakfast was amazing, I really appreciate the small buffet and make to order concept. Can highly recommend the Derbyshire breakfast, this is the full English breakfast experience. Softboiled eggs and soldiers were also out of this world! The room, facilities and the view from the room was incredible and the staff was super friendly and helpful!

Staff very friendly and helpful, a very nice golf resort but not somewhere I'd recommend necessarily for a non-golfing stay

Spacious and comfortable room, well appointed and clean with quiet outlook over golf course (mostly - there were a few loudly regretted tee shots.)

Booking for dinner process seemed unreliable but waiting staff found us a table in a very busy dining area.

Lovely hotel lovely rooms what surprised us was how reasonable food and drinks were in fact we had stopped at a pub nearby en-route and the prices at the hotel were better than a local pub - what a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent
