Piedra de Agua Hotel Boutique Mérida

Perfect location to see and get to everywhere you need to be in Merida. Even the company I used for tours was just around the corner. Beautiful colonial building! Massive rooms!

The only minus is although I got a free upgrade the room comm without a window 🤣 but all in all this did not affect my stay. But a heads up would have been handy.

All of the staff were extremely helpful, always available and sincerely kind. Made me feel right at home.

Nothing wrong with property. King bed a bit big for room size.

It’s a beautiful building right in the centre town, so the location is perfect, and the staff are the loveliest and so helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The location is great. The courtyard has a boutique hotel feel, the rooms are generous.

The worn down condition of the property is disguised by the professional pictures on the booking.com website, the pool and garden area wasn’t clean when we arrived, there was a foul smell in the hall way and food smells coming from the open kitchen. A dead cockroach was lying on the staircase leading up to the rooms and rat/mouse traps at obvious sight right next to the dining area in the garden. Overall the images and ratings oversell the reality of the experience.
